Yikes! ok I was reading a thread yesterday on the prediction of a global tilt in 2012
having to cause in effect of the oceans rising and creating a Tsunami. Ironically before I went to bed last night I was watching the Discovery Channel and the subject was the Dec 26th Tsunami I never knew that The length of day was shortened by 2.68 microseconds from the 9.0 earthquake does this explain the off the wall weather? the Hurricanes etc...Call me paronoid but I just got freaked out! to me 2.68 microseconds is an impact on our earth.
What does this mean for our future? does it mean anything? Scientist are predicting a whole bunch of weather Phenomenon in our future I don't know about you guys but I am a bit worried about our future no.gif or maybe I am just being a nervous nelly but I am just glad their is a forum to vent my thoughts.

Thanks,
M

Scientists: Quake May Have Made Earth Wobble
Dec 29 2004 - CNN.com
The deadly Asian earthquake may have permanently accelerated the Earth's rotation, shortening days by a fraction of a second and caused the planet to wobble on its axis. Richard Gross, a geophysicist with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California, theorized that a shift of mass toward the Earth's center during the quake Sunday caused the planet to spin 3 microseconds, or millionths of a second, faster and to tilt about an inch on its axis. An added wobble of an inch is unlikely to cause long-term effects, Gross said

Experts: New Data Show Global Warming

Apr 28 2005 - Yahoo-Associated Press
Climate scientists armed with new data from deep into the ocean and far into space have found the Earth is absorbing more heat that it gives off, a conclusion they say validates projections of global warming. James Hansen, lead scientist for the study and a NASA climatologist, described the findings on the planet’s out-of-balance energy exchange as a “smoking gun” that should dispel doubts about forecasts of climate change. A European climate expert called the finding “a valuable contribution to climate research.”[/color]

With all the climate change going on so far, ice melting in the artic & Hurricanes with bigger inpacks on the us. It make me think global warming is not a story made up.
But again there are undergrounds volcanoes in california and didn't Mt. Saint Helen reveal that its not a mountain but a volcano a few years ago. So it does make you wonder if the earth is going with Genesis in the bible, too. It predicted stuff too. Otherwords there are alot stuff going on on this old earth, so you learned to deal with it. It the only way around it. I heard on the news 7 years ago that Alabama will float off and connect with Hawaii and 2010 I think they said. (Shrug shoulders) Who knows.

Impossible rolleyes.gif Alabama is where..? It's one of the what states? GULF States. Hawaii is where? Pretty damn far away from California in the Pacific you say? That means they're seperated by Mexico. Ain't a gunna happen thumbsup.gif
