I've personally tried these a few years back. The knowledge i got from my experiences is hard to explain, yet it has opened my mind. I'm not trying to push this fungi on other people, but if you have any experiences or want to ask about my experiences, please post. I'm not trying to be a "druggy" nor am i trying to be "cool". I think this is a very serious topic, it is also very unexplained. Please check out this site

Some very good friends of mine died when they tried some mushrooms. They thought they knew enough to pick the right kind, but I have since learned that the 'right' ones and the 'deadly' ones look alot alike! You have to know what you're doing (or trust the person who gets them for you).

Thought provoking - especially about how imbibing shrooms could have started religion - something i think is very likely.

This came from the link I first posted...
"It is clear to me where Plato found his ideas. It was clear to his contemporaries too. Plato had drunk of the potion in the Temple of Eleusis and had spent the night seeing the great vision."
PurpleStuart,
This came from a link that you posted about Grand Canyon-Egypt connection. I was thinking that maybe this "Code" of life could be understood while under the influence of shrooms. Like some kind of universal language, maybe this is a door. I'm sure there are many doors. I'm interested to find a connection with this "code" and the human brain/spirit.
"GEMATRIA and THE CODE can be considered to be "whole brain" methodologies. In other words, both bilateral functions of the brain must be employed to reach applicable and functional results. Or, the left, rational/verbal/lineal, side of the brain and the right, intuitive/imaginative/non-lineal, side must work together, in much the same way as when viewing stereogram images, sometimes known as 'Magic Eye' pictures also. (Those pictures that were popular a few years back that looked like just a mass of colored dots when first seen, but after gazing in a particular manner for a while a complete 3-D picture or scene 'popped' out to your vision. Usually children and young adults have an easier time seeing the pictures because they are not yet as completely absorbed with just left brain, rational, thinking habits, and their right brain, creative, side is more flexible.)"

I too have seen the effects of these mushrooms, and if finding the code involves hacking at my face with a Stanley knife, then I will happily remain in ignorance, ta very much. :sh
