Ok i heard this one like 5 years ago...... Its starts out with this girl that just got a scholarship to a great college. We will call her Melissa. Melissa was great student.. she got all A"s, she was active in sport and in the school play. She was so happy she got a scholarship to her favorite school on the east coast!!! She was majoring in criminal justice!!
When she got to campus .. she was so happy to meet new friends.. and she started to get involved right away. Her room mate in the dorm was a crazy party girl who had several boyfriends.. One stormy night close to semester end.. Melissa and her roommate where supposed to meet a bunch of their friends for dinner and some drinks!! Jessie ( Melissa roommate) didn't feel so well and stay behind in their doom. Melissa felt weird for some reason leaving her alone, her heard about some mad man on campus harassing some of the other girls!! So, she went out alone with out her. After dinner all of them stop at another bar, then Melissa realized she lefted her Id on the dresser right next to the door!
So, she went back to her room to get it. Since, the dresser was right next to the door when she opened the door, the light from the hallway casted enough light for her to grab her id from the dresser without turning on the light, not disurbing her roommate. She grabbed it then left. She got back to the bar and drank with her friend several more hours. Then as she got back to the campus.. there where police everywhere!!! They block off the whole entrance to her dorm area!!!! Melissa gets out the car.. ""Whats goin on?"" the police tell her someone is dead and they need to investigate. "No, No " she cries. I need to make sure my friends ok"... so she runs passed the cops guarding the door.... she gets on the elevator to the 7th floor. She goes to her room 707 ...and there is police tape sealing it off!! She gaspssssssss.............. then enters the room.. !!! There is blood everywhere . on the ceiling on the floor .. on the wallsssssssssssss. on her roommates bed.. the she sees the body in between the beds! Jessie's throat has been slit!!!!!!!! Melissa cant take it anymore.. she runs to the bath room and starts to vomit!! Then she runs her face under cold water.. as she looks up inthe mirror to dry her face she see something, a message written in blood on the mirror "' Aren't you glad you didn't turn on the lights? '"

Cool for a kids ghost story,scary if your under the age of 13.

Not to be a "party pooper" but the story has holes in it you could drive a truck through.

Ok maybe to you it might be like something that only scares little kids .. but be honest with your self being an a adult .... what does scare you now days??? The only reason why i decided to talk about this legend was because i read the other legends.. I heard alot of them and this one is one that i actually thought was worth an opinion.. so since this one sucks,,, you tell another one!! Keep in mind that the one i talking about could possialby happen and effect women young women like me ... that get scared to walk home alone know what crazy f*xks thats are out there and will take over at any time!!! No only that ,but there is a known staticstic about young women on campus at any given college are 3 times as likely to become a victim to theft or rape! Please remember that too!@!!

And to answer your question,what really scares me is the fact that there are adults/parents out there that truly belive that the moonlandings and 9/11 was somesort of goverment conspiracy.

No wonder that the kids these days grow up confused,and like you said,become "crazy f*x".

Ok whatever, what my story has NOTHING to do with 9/11 or anything of that sor .. really waht I was trying to get at was all of student on campus must watch out for them selves!there is alot of crazy idiots out there.. and believe me I dont watch CSI : I watch court tv: Forniec files i now and what happens and its stataically know that 3 of 10 women of msot colleges been come a victim to theft- rape! This is a problem a major problem ! YOur hear all over the new that this or that women got rape at that this school!! I live in chicago IL and this just dont happen here but all over the state and even in the east im not not tryin to naem thecollege ok............AND for u to bring up bush and the governmetn and a WHOLE different topic..... maybe you read my respose to 2012 end?? you might off but what Im talkinbout goes futher than bush and government... this is about sick f*cks that luck around us and will kill ou and your family fromt he fun of it this its realll NOT CSI Not ANY OF THESE NEW DRAMA SHOWS ONTV THIS IS REALL LIVE DNA TAKES BETWEEN 12 =-8 MONTHS FOT RESULTS.. This is a spooky story for the kids, you see most adult arent scared of monsters, boogeyman, etc. Because in reality humans are the monsters, we are all scared of humans and each other. The only thing Im afraid am at this moment is the occupation of Azerbaycan by armenie. Maybe not relevent to this topic but this is what scares adults.. humans

Well may if more college students are smarter and not being a idiot and drink and drugged themselve up then they won't get raped/robbed so often! This is exactly why I leave university I was in. I got sick of all drama that people get themselve into then try to make it a national news!

This is also other reason I don't drink or do drugs!
