is it 100% true that animals can sense danger before it happens e.g. earthquakes in japan where all the animals acted up hours before it occured, and how do they sense the danger

I have seen something like that on tv about animals fleeing to higher ground before the great tsunami hit the coast. Maybe they can sense the rumble.

this is one of the reasons i want a dog

they cant sense the earthquake tho, because the earthquake strikes after the waves originate from the orgin....its a matter of minutes

I too heard about the tsunami, they had footage of a big game animal preserve, and they were showing how there was not one corpse and no animal was taken by surprise. It's very strange how they are able to sense disaster.

our ancestors would have followed these creatures knowing that if the animals run it is important; we have forgotten that the animals we live with smell fear, can sense the vibration that precedes an earthquake, and feel the rumble of fast moving water. even the birds will run when danger approaches, your greatest asset is the animals, for they are the best early warning system we have. most think that animals are stupid, i can tell you this, back in Cali, my dogs would act a bit different just before even a minor earthquake.

Your thread is about your dreams, and dreams are strange.

I bet that if everyone on this forum started writing about their dreams, compared with yours, there are some scary ones out there that never even bother the dreamer.

I thought they were scary when I was just a little kid too,but dont worry, dreams are just that, only dreams.thumbsup.gif

Animals are attuned to different frequence ranges and therefore some things come easier to them. If nothing else a few extra minutes can be decisive for their lives.

Yes, it is definately true, and from personal experience I can say that even reptiles can sense, and react to earthquakes before humans will perceive them.

Actually dreams are the minds way of dealing with stress, fear, and other emotions that it cant deal with in reality.

animals have much stronger senses than we as humans do (we no longer really need our senses to survive in the wilderness.... we're fairly safe for the most part) and can very likely sense-
earthquakes: because of vibrations within the earth that humans could not feel but they can
storms: change in barometric pressure, etc

everyone continues to claim that humans are smarter than animals... when i tend to think it's the opposite way around. we've fooled ourselves into thinking we're getting more capable of surviving, but in reality, we're losing those senses and instincts which are most vital to survival.

I don't understand your view. I do know that the earthquake strikes before the Waves. the earthquake is what caused the displacement from the gap in the ocean floor, therefore causing the the water to rush in (which is what caused to water to lower, away from the coast) then, that's what causes the water to inland. i believe this is caused by the magnetic field flow of the earth. The incident with the tsunami and animals not being harmed is true. My dog refuses to go outside hours before it even starts to storm. I leave 'em outside before I leave to work for the day.

It's all in the same theory as how do birds know which direction to migrate even though they do not have a compas, and how they know the seasons change. Down in Texas, we see birds migrate in the winter to Mexico, yet it's hotter then hell while I watch them migrate. How do mammals know when to stop hibernating?.....everything is done off sense equivalent to our 6th sense humans have but there's has more direction to it.

If species from other planets are watching, they would think dogs were the masters of human. they would be wondering why dogs are leading us around and we trailing behind them. They would be asking" why the hell are humans collecting dog's poop?"

aah, yes, but their senses are stronger than ours, and so pick up on those waves. unlike us humans, who only see and feel the "earthquake" part of it.
