I was wondering why cryptids don't usually reveal themselves to us. I think I understand, How can we accept cryptids if we can't even accept some members of our own species.
Anyone support this?

I think most cryptids aren't advanced enough to make contact with humans. But if Bigfoot is as intelligent as we think, look what we are doing to its natural habitat.

I think cryptids don't "reveal themselves" to humans because they are animals and just do what animals do. I walk thru the woods and animals run away, they don't come out and sit at my feet singing "hey, look me over."

i beg the differ...

....What if BigFoot is advanced...advanced enough to know if it made contact with humans, humans just cause more trouble with research. That would be like prison. If he was not that smart, why is it that he can elude us better than most prison criminals on the run? and he has been searched for non-stop. the most intelligent animals are elusive because they can read our vibes and know that we are the true predators.
This is true...ducks are smart birds....that's why we Duck Hunt....instead of Chicken Hunting!

I don't quite think they have the powers of reasoning to support that theory.
indeed

I have to agree with Rich,
If in fact each given Cryptid is real, I think it would be merely the case of instincts, basic Intelligence and there mostly secluded habitat as to why they have not been cataloged. Not because they don't want it.

What is a cryptid?
Bigfoot, Nessie, El Chupacabra, etc.
There's probably a better definition for it though.

I am not trying to get to far off topic here, but i think it would be pointless to make a new topic on this because there would only be a few post but does anyone have info. on the El Chupacabra because i have heard of it and seen pics of it on tv but dont quit get the story.

they just don't like humans. If they did it would probably die from all the commotion. being on the big screens being captured and sent to a lab.
