it started with my computer's typing. id start then it will move the words somewhere else, i looked down at my chair today and a screw in it came almost completely out, note this is a huge screw, earlyer today my water meter out back burst! all explainable things but im not so sure.
darkninja
How old is your computer? Maybe it should be replaced??... same as your chair yes.gif

As for your water meter, maybe it is just a government conspiracy to either get you to pay more on your water bill (when they come to fix it, they will say you used many more gallons of water than you actually did)...

as far as tiny little gremlins that wreak havoc on technological appliances and the such: laugh.gif

Maybe if you said that some evil nanotechnologist built little machines that are wreaking havoc, I might be more prone to believing it...

That would be amazing. My new calling in life is to be an evil nanotechnologist. devil.gif
indeed
*sigh*

Gremlins are total make believe, from hollywood. There are no such things as Gremlins, and I suggest not believing in any more movies from now on original.gif
darkninja
Weren't gremlins some kind of government propoganda against the Germans during WWII or something like that? "Those evil b@st@rd Germans are trying to sabotage our airplanes... yadda yadda, blah blah blah"???

lol seriously though, when the first gremlins movie came out it scared the pants off of me as a kid, really freaked me out. In comparison the second was a true comedy.

Oh and the original poster... yeah i think they'Re all explainable to be honest. original.gif

That was one of my favorite! When they fed them all the hamburgers and then blew them up! thumbup.gif and when they formed the huge ball and ran over the one guy and completely ate all of his flesh and muscles n stuff and all that was left was his skeleton, which was still moving(even though that would be impossible because you can't move your bones without muscles) but HEY! It was the eighties, man! Oh yeah, and I just remembered the space hunter or whatever, the one that transformed n stuff... damn you, indeed, now i am going to have to watch all of those again...
FrothyDog
of all creatures, i really wish i could believe/find proof of gremlins. maybe not the kind from the movies, but out there nonetheless. i just want some kind of reassurance that it isn't me messing up my tech stuff.

Japanese actually.
There where stories about Japanes exporting gremlins to the US to sabotage the army equipment.
That's where the movie came from, so it ain't just a movie. (based on a excisting legend/story)

Gremlins were "created" during WWII to explain why machinery and equipment brokedown for no apparent reason. They are one of the examples of how stuff like this begins. A simple explaination for sdomething that can't be explained has now grown into a mythology all its own. cool.gif

Oh my Goddess!! These were some of the funniest WB cartoons of the era! And one of the few times Bugs didn't get the upper hand.
