has anyone heard of these blue skinned ozark people? i would really like to know more about them, but i have no reliable sources.

they are blue because of a rare genetic disorder, but when given a certain supplement they regain a caucasian skin tone. it lists the disorder on all of the websites i've seen, and i have seen the disorder on medical websites. the only thing is, on the medical websites, i can't seem to find any evidence that such a disorder turns the skin blue.

i've seen pictures, but a black and white picture doesn't really show that they were blue, only different from the other people in the picture.

maybe they had a rare skin condition that caused them to be blue?

the green children were i believe located in england in the 18th century. they said they were from a place called st martin's land after they learned how to speak english.

I’ve heard of two different groups of green children being found (as stated above). A boy and a girl with pale green skin were found in a cave. They said they came from a different place. But never blue skinned.

This was mentioned in our biology class in high school. It explained why the skinned turned blue and how the medication worked to change their colour to a more "normal" tone.

the condition is called Methemoglobinemia, and it can give the skin a bluish cast. it's just so weird, it is hard to believe.

I remember reading something about this, but I can't find anything on the subject...

I've heard of this story as well, and it also mentioned that the children were apparently Asian in appearance.
