I saw this and the first thing (no pun intended) hat popped into my head was the story "Who Goes There?" which is the inspiration for John Carpenter's movie The Thing. cool.gif

On second thought, isn't there a species of crab that camouflages itself with seafloor debris?

you have to ask yourself how far evolution will take this wonderful creature? what if, many millenia from now they develop such a close symbiotic relationship the crabs are born with the anenomes already attached- an intertwined DNA kind of thing? unsure.gif
