My Confession
I must confess
I am not what I seem,
You’re in your world
While I’m in my twine,
You have your thoughts
But you don’t know,
How through your hate
I grow,
“Your best wishes”
Is what you preach,
Though you say I’m a case
That can’t be reached,
You take your problems
And blame them on me,
Your try to keep me caged
And I am never free,
This is the one and only thing,
That terrifies me,
You say I’m Evil
And it’s taken a hold,
My life’s a secret
That you’ll never know.

Excellent poem Faith

These are a few more that I have recently written…


-Consuming-

Falling deeper
Into darkness,
Hoping silently
To forget this,
Each tear in my mind
Belongs to
Despair on the surface,
Dying inside
Without
Any sense of purpose,
All you see is
Is only skin deep,
I try to not let you see
This consuming hell is killing me.

-Nobody Hears-

I’ll talk through my eyes, with words pouring down,
On my surface a smile, while my life’s upside down,
Joking around I’ll pretend it’s alright,
And you don’t know how I scream inside at night,
My mind has become my shelter,
My warm and darkened grave,
About to give up and close my eyes,
So you can’t see the tears I hide.

-Untitled-

When everything goes right,
I can relax and not cry at night,
I feel safe and warm inside your arms,
When I’m with you I know I’m not in harm,
I care about you more than I can say,
I only hope you wont push me away,
But things are never what they seem,
My life is filled with misery that is unseen.

-Beyond the Surface-

To stay real,
To keep my mind clean from you,
To have hope,
To Believe in the despair that surrounds me,
To keep sane inside my insanity,
To embrace darkness within my light,
To not hide inside but stand and fight,
To hold on to love,
To keep my humanity,
Only small parts of what it takes to be me.

WOW, faith190. Your poems are incredibly deep and draw the reader in with them. when i read these, it felt like i was right there with you, going through the pain also.

-The Lost-

Beyond the whispering words
Can you hear the sounds?
Of one so lost
Never to be found,
I came through the end
Only to find a continuance,
Does no one have the mentality to conceive this?
I refuse to compromise my life to be surrounded by lies,
I wonder why you can not understand,
I am not at your command,
The true me is what you can not see,
Is this why you are scared of me?

Wow, you are very talented.

Your poems reflect who you are. Now my question is, do you have any poems that are happy? Just a thought. The best is yet to come.

Learning through our experiences as teenagers helps us to grow into loving, responsible adults. When we are teenagers our parents are still looking after us, yet we are growing our wings to fly in the real world. It can be a struggle, Faith190, but never lose hope.

I love this one . . .

It makes me think of my Michael, I felt so safe in his arms. It was like nothing or no one could harm me.

I do have poetry that is happy, but right now I have been going through a very difficult time and I write based on what is going on with my life. When things brighten up for me I will post happier poems. But thank you for the compliments.

-Chances-

Often hidden but not less real,
A symbol inside if you choose to hide,
Questions and ‘what ifs’ forum around,
Would your life have different bounds?
Are they worth the thoughts they take?
Or the hearts they break?
Those come everyday,
And so many times have been turned away,
They can cause such confusion,
And sometimes end in no union,
I have taken chances,
Tho they are often not taken with me,
I’m a chance with no guarantee,
But was your chance wasted with me?

I hope you enjoy.

I have like read all these.. in real life... the notebook in which these poems reside is in my home!
