Jack Thompson sent a letter to the police department of Seattle with this to say.
QUOTE
Dear Chief Kerlikowske,
A Seattle buisness by the name of Penny Arcade, whose phone number is --------- employs certain personnel who have decided to commence and orchestrate criminal harrasment of me by various means.
The company has done this because I dared to go on CBS's 60 Minutes in March and again in July to explain a wrongful death lawsuit I have bought on behalf of two police officers and a police dispatcher in Fayette, Alabama, who were shot in the head and killed by Devin Moore, who obsessivley trained on Grand Theft Auto: Vice City to kill them.
As you may know, this incredibly violent Rockstar Games product is actually a "cop-killing" murder simulator. There are a bunch of computer geeks out there who think that the video game has a constitutiol right to paint a bullseye on your back and the backs of your officers, but that I do not have the constitutinol right to point out on 60 Minutes or anywhere else that they do not have this "Constitutinol Right".
That is what this Criminal Harrasment of me by Penny-Arcade is all about. They're even selling an 'I hate Jack Thompson' t-shirt, but that is just the tip of the iceberg. These idiots have been so careless as to post on their www.penny-arcade.com web site what they are doing regarding the harrasment of me.
I look foward to working with your fine police department to shut this little extortion factory down and/or arrest some of it's employees.
Regards, Jack Thompson.

Tycho of Penny-Arcade responded... "The "campaign of harassment" he is describing is the natural result of a public figure making statements that people disagree with, and letting him know their thoughts on the matter via his publically available contact information. It is critical to establish that this letter isn't anything to worry about. We've been sent worse by better."
And Gabe of the Seattle based comic says the real reason why Jack has got it in for them is because they donated $10,000 to charity in his name when he would not follow up his 'modest proposal'.
The full story, including responses from the PA team and Jack's letter in it's entireity, can be found at Penny Arcade.
Further details of the situation can be found at GamePolitics.
I should add that the site is not working right now, but it will probably be back online shortly
