I’m looking for horror and/or fantasy art. My name is Jonathan Maberry, and in September of 2006 Pinnacle Books will release my new nonfiction book, Vampires (and Other Things That Bite). Problem is I wrote a bigger book than my publisher budgeted for so I’m scouting for artists who want to work out a barter with me: art for advertising.

In exchange for letting me use some interior art for my book, the artist will get an artists byline, mention in the acknowledgements page, an artist bio in the appendices (with all relevant contact info), and will also be featured on the official website for the book. Yeah, it’s not cash, but the exposure is terrific. Artists will retain full copyright of course.

If you’re interested, please contact me right away (my deadline is December 1).

Thanks!

Maybe you would have better results posting in the artists hangout section.

I will ask my oldest brother, and see if he will contact you, he is an exceptional artist.

you should draw some. That'd be awesome. Or have someone draw them. It'd better then getting ones online...more...original if drawn by something in person.

You should go to www.eyesofchaos.com and contact Mike Bohatch. His works are horror and very awesome. I've gone through a lot of his work and it's worth a look. original.gif

I'm writing horror fiction, now. I've written scifi in the past. www.ConceptArt.org is a food place to look for top-notch artists.
I have one doing the banner for my website right now.
