why is he talking about gamers like that? he's obviously one of them, or he wouldn't have wanted a game made.
this guy needs to chill out and pay up. he put it out there that if someone made a game tailored to his specifications, he would give them $10,000. since he hasn't, people have gotten mad. understandably mad.

I think Jack Thompson wants to censor many games simply by making them rated-AO, and then stores can no longer sell them. Also, there is NOTHING in Killer 7 and GTA:San Andreas that wouldn't be shown in an R-rated movie, or even a show like CSI.

oh man, I hate this guy so much. I can't believe how angry he makes me. everytime I hear something about this lunatic I actually get really angry. I just want to yell at him and tell him about how I and millions of people like me have played almost every kind of violent game made and yet have turned out completely normal, sane, and just as calm and placid as people who arent into gaming at all. I know most people think he's crazy, but what worries me is if people start believing him and ridiculous censorship starts happening...if theres one thing I hate more than anything else, its other people deciding what i can and can't do.

The ESRB isn't a very effective system.. Have any of you played the M Rated game BMX XXX and compared it to Hot Coffee? BMX XXX shows alot more X Rated sh**... Like the Boobs, and cut scenes... But they rated it M. A travesty IMO...

i can think of a few instances where extremely violent video games have saved some people from being SERIOUSLY hurt.

It all comes down to anger-managment. if you can't control your anger well, take it out on something that doesn't have any feeling - such as the mafia guys in GTA3 - Liberty City.
