I was just watching the new episode of Ghost Hunters and I was impressed by what they found. First they were in a morgue using a thermal camera. They pointed it toward a locker and an outline of a man was revieled. And they could not duplicate what happened since the locker did not reflect very well.
Towards the second half of the show Jason was given a psychic reading from a medium. Grant was using the thermal camera during the reading. When the medium was trying to read Jason the thermal camera went crazy and strange heat signatures went from Jason to the medium.
Once I find the videos to this I will post them. If you saw the episode, what did you think about it? Also, if you have the video of these two things please post them.

it was interesting, but the only thing i didnt like about the thermal image is that (yes it looked like an apparition) it didnt move. it stayed stationary like a picture

I thought I saw that too, but I wasn't sure since I only saw it the last time they showed it.
Hmm

Yea, it did move, looked down. As for the psychic thing, I think that was a camera problem. Only seemed to move when the camera moved.

now i didnt see it move its head...i would be alot more excited had it been on the normal camera and not the thermal...because there are alot of variables when you deal with a thermal cam including other bodies interferring. i know that they tried to recreate it...but the temperature when they filmed the aparition could have been very different than the afternoon. it mostly makes me wonder if the scifi channel isnt pushing taps to try and come up with more from their investigations because they dont come up with that much real often which is just how it is. i went to a haunted place in my area at least 15 times before i ever saw anything.

Myself and my wife have watched the last few episodes of TAPS after hearing about the show on this site, and i SO wish they would stay at the site longer than one night. It just seems to me that they barely spend any time anywhere, or even stay all night sometimes, if they are tired they appear to just wrap up for the night. I do wonder how much more they would capture etc if they simply stayed for a few days or at least a weekend instead of a matter of hours. I would be surprised if you caught much at all in a matter of hours, I also wish that when they see something on camera that they wouldnt stop filming to replay it to themselves, i do honestly wonder what the ghost etc goes onto do while they are going "WOW"....it annoys me how they seem so excited to get something good they forget they could be getting more
The most spooky thing about the locker image was how the number 2 was sooooo lit up, it obviously had been heated by something and i wish the guys had tried to get more info on that locker, or what would have been in there in the past. Obviously that locker/number had some signicicance (cccccccc spell check cccccc) and i would have liked to have known if anyone knew what it was etc.
anyone else think the deer in the first nightvision shot was the freakest looking deer EVER! until they got closer, i swear it wasnt a deer at first.
I dont think that the thermal imaging camera was at fault with the medium. i did find the change in tempeture and movement weird but if it was a camera fault how could you explain the sudden and total shift when the medium waved his hand and "swiped" the image away? If it was really real etc it is fasicating footage, and although a camera fault could be to blame, grant did say it only happened on jasons reading, and not his. So a camera fault i dont think would cover that, if the camera developed a fault for only one of the readings...then wouldnt that suggest some other energy present regardless?
good show overall though. just wish they didnt have day jobs

TAPS has a pretty good reputation. I see no reason yet to doubt them.

I watched the marathon on SciFi yesterday and really enjoyed it. I had never seen Ghost Hunters before but I think I'm now a fan.

Yeah, I agree. The head did move down. It was plain as can be. I'm sure it will be on their site soon. I don't believe this is fake, or anything other than an apparition.

The first season was by far waaaaaaaaaay better...less drama being shown with the actual crew and more on the investigations....this season...they added stupid sound effects....showed more of the crew....seemed to spend less time at investigation sites...either found less or just showed less findings...and finally...it's the season finale...they are supposed to save the best for last...and that was not it...

I actually got to watch the other night. I can't explain it and can't rationalize is as anything other than paranormal. It did freak me out a bit, I don't mind telling you.

Yeah I was gonna say the same thing. Sure it could have been an issue with the camera since it did seem to move with the camera, but the way the medium waved his hand almost like grabbin it right out the air was a little weird... sure it's possible it was just coincidence... but what are the odds...
Great episode. Hope they do another season, any news on a third season?

I thoght it was way cool too. But they said it look like a maybe a dead civil war person. B/c it wore a cap. It could been a dead janitor. B/c it also had some sort of stick in its hand. They could not figuire out how was the number 2 glowing red hot on the thermal.Real neat.

I live about an hour away from Eureka Springs (where this was filmed, at the Crescent Hotel) and I have heard many stories from friends and even loved ones about this place. I thought it was a GREAT season finale, in my opinion the civil war soldier/stone mason (whichever you think it was) was the best evidence they have ever gotten. Every other episode was full of "orbs" or "weird camera malfunctions". The whole town of Eureka Springs is freaky though, there are many old shops and houses as you walk through the town that give you a really weird vibe just by looking at them. The crescent hotel is extremely freaky and I'm disappointed that they didn't stay longer. They didn't mention how almost half of the hotel is closed of because it is too "hot" with weird stuff happening. They should've stayed in that side of the building. It's a very cool place to visit though, if you're in the area don't pass it up.
