Here's a one-question IQ Test to help you decide how you should spend the rest of your day......

There is a mute who wants to buy a toothbrush.

By imitating the action of brushing one's teeth, he successfully expresses himself
to the shopkeeper and the purchase is done.

Now, if there is a blind man who wishes to buy a pair of sunglasses, how should he express himself?

Think about it first before scrolling down for the answer...

He opens his mouth and says. "I would like to buy a pair of sunglasses"

If you got this wrong - please turn off your computer and
call it a day.

Yep . . you kind of get caught on that 'mute' thought for a moment, then realize that the man can talk.

Yelekiah
^sign language.
endlessgirl
I don't think that's possible...he can't see therefore he won't be able to learn sign language
_Nyx_
You mean.....computers can be turned off? NOOOOO!
Yelekiah
I think it's possible if someone guides his hands, and he operates by feel alone. Ok, depends on when old dude became blind, never mind.

blink.gif no....

Anyway, IT MAY BE possible for a blind, deaf, mute person to learn something. There's always a way to mostly everything...

She was blind, deaf and mute. She was damn near feral in her behavior. She not only learned how to communicate with sign language but if I remember right she became a teacher..very educated. I can't remember the name but a movie was made about her that Patty Duke starred in as Helen.

The name of the movie was "The Miracle Worker". I also read that Helen Keller learned to ride a horse and also learned to swim. original.gif

Ahhh, but how would a person who's mute, deaf, blind, has no sense of touch, no sense of smell, no sense of taste, and no sense of life ask for a bacon double-cheeseburger?
Mr Ed
I got it straight away, I am not sure if it qualifies as an IQ test though...tongue.gif

Took me about 2 seconds to get the answer. THough it'd probably be better if I turned my computer off and did some real work.

I know, who'd want a bacon double-cheeseburger? I'd rather have grilled chicken from Mc. Donalds, but, ya never know grin2.gif
