Daughter of the Nine Moons
I'm hoping some one can help me. I am looking for a place where I can upload (for free preferably) music and/or video files.
I signed up to putfile.com and while it works, I am not 100% thrilled with it.

thanks

Dando, no luck with Mythica. I followed the link but the only spot I found to upload was useruploads.mythica.org: image and movie hosting for Halo fansites and their forums. I'm having a Dot moment hmm.gif

www.megaupload.com is decent. 250 mb limit though.

www.badongo.com offers 500 mb.

I still like megaupload better, a bit more user friendly. Plus, how often do you really need all those megabytes? tongue.gif

Unless... your planning to take over the net! ohmy.gif One file at a time... ph34r.gif

Thanks, I will check all of them out tonight. grin2.gif

Dot, I have a personal FTP in which I can upload just about anything. If you run out of space on one of those, lemme know. In any case, FTPs are, personally, the best way to upload stuff onto the internet. I'm not sure how to set one up myself, but I doubt it could hurt to look into it a little.
Daughter of the Nine Moons
Ok, probably a silly question...but what the heck is an FTP?

File Transfer Protocol... pretty old in todays terms and pretty confusing...

I never noticed until now that you used my gamer tag in the above post... I love it! grin2.gif

IMO these 2 are the best uploading sites. If you are going to host images i suggest u use imageshack.us

http://rapidshare.de/
Upload-limit: Unlimited! (Max. 50 MB per file! Split-archives allowed!)
Download-limit: Unlimited! (Some files have more than 100.000 downloads!)
Can't believe none of u posted this.

http://www3.spread-it.com/
There is no registration and no fees. There is nothing to install and no special software required. All you need is the browser you are using right now. A file can be up to 500 mb! We will host your file forever for free, until it is unused for 14 days. If nobody downloads your file for 14 days, it is automatically deleted. Your file is available for download at Spread-It.com 24 hours a day and seven days a week.

I forgot all about Rapid Share actually....

To Travisimo,

I love the sig, that's pretty funny grin2.gif
