I was watching a show (on animal planet or the sci fi channel...can't remember) that showed a two-headed snake. It was, of course, very strange looking. I also heard that if you give a two-headed snake some food the two heads will fight each other for the food. Wild stuff!

two-headed snakes and the platypus both have one thing in common. They were both sneezed out during creation.

I, too, saw a program that had a similar story on it. I'm thinking the one I saw was part of the "Croc Hunter" series. I generally don't watch "fluff" like that, but he had the 2-headed snake on & I had to see it!!!

The one that they were speaking about one of the heads seemed to be the dominate one...eating more & moving more, but they were both definitely living! Pretty darned cool if ya ask me!

cool I saw that program well it was talking about them it was called mysterious animals and they said that if you didn't feed them for a while they might try to bite each overs head I agree sonian wild stuff.

It's not an actual species of two-headed snake, it's just a mutation, birth defect etc. There are two headed cats, cows, hell two-headed humans.

One qeustion if it's been proved as real why post it here this site is for stuff not usally believed in. Two-Headed snakes hardly falls into this discription.

yea, its interesting and some people dont know they exist. If you look at alot of the pics on this site are just mutations but that doesnt mean their any less interesting.

How is this a cryptid? Theres two headed snakes, turtles, etc...its a defect during birth, not a new species. Nothing weird about that.

In my environmental class we were talking about mutated organisims and one thing that creeped me out was that there was a shark born with 6 eyes! Nature houses some pretty amazing stuff!
