Some here might know that scientists are trying to create life from scratch, they are trying to turn non-life into self sustaining life forms. You can watch the PBS video here:

I've actually herd that there are companies that will produce genes for you, then you implant the genes into the cell of the organism and wallah. But of course the cell is still required.
So, if they can find a way to produce cells from scratch, billions of dollars will be made by someone.

A friend of mine said to me the other day that if they can do this it will help to prove how life was created from nothing...


Even though I would say to him that it is done so under controlled circumstances...
