My friend told me that in the koran it says that if you kill other humans (christians,jews,hindus,etc..) that you go to heaven!! is this true because it sounds like BS to me!!

Other humans perhaps being infidels. A lot of that is in the Hadith, not the Koran, about the 72 virgins, etc. There are a few scriptures from the Koran that I posted earlier in the thread related to what you're asking, however.

sorry I missedthis one...I was just saying it was some what like what born again christians believe in... ie - my mother (born again C) told me that because I am catholic, I wont get into the kindom of heaven, because I have not been saved!!! IMO thats cobblers!

thanks for the reply but i hear two sides of the argument to this.

1. If you are a muslims, jews, christians and are pure in your faith in God then you can go to heaven.

2. That Muslims, Jews, Christians go to heaven. Also non-believers and sinners go to hell, but because god is merciful, you will only be punished according to your sins, and then after you served your punishment you can go to heaven.

You can say that If you Believe in One and Only one Allah Like Jews and Christians do but i am not totally sure i have to do a Study then i will totally Clarify this ok Pancake...

and Id like to know why so many people think that its allright to critisize this religion because of what extremists have done. I just don't get it.
So if I saw on the news that a christian women killed her children and said that god told her to do so, that would mean that It would be right to critisize everybody following the same religion, and that if someone asked me what christianity is, Id say that it's the religion that teaches you to kill your children.

just wish people would actually read the quran first, cuase 9.3 of the quran states this

but i do like this one though, especially the last line.

Ive seen this very discussion in numerous forums where people take a line they think is from the Qur'an, when its from some unreliable site, and they post it and say SEE SEE THIS IS WHAT THE QUR'AN IS, when they havent even sat down and spoken to a true Islamic follower or read the Qur'an and researched in great detail. Its the same with many faiths. You cannot pick one line, and make a sweeping generalisation, for ANY faith.

The Qur'an for the most part is peacful but many muslims, like christians are not.
Back in Kemet I got into alot of fights for not being muslim.

The sacred texts and the teachings preach peace. People however choose to act against it by being violent.
