Hi, Since thursday, I was ill, but i am going to a bike show tomorrow, and couldnt if i was ill, I prayed to be better for tomorrow, and i feel GREAT today. This has happened a number of times, but has it happened to anyone else? Is it really god, or a realllly good coincidence (btw, EVERYTIME im sick, i pray and the next day, Im fine)

I think that prayers or thoughts can affect your health. There was a study on this actually.

The placebo effect. It's pretty well documented.

Let me guess. The same old "mind over body" thing, huh? Lol...
Do they know WHY praying does this?

Probably something to do with positive energy.

I've been asking this same question before. Where does this healing come from?
The placebo effect...The brain responds by generating a pattern of neural activity that produces objectively quantifiable analgesia.
Or if it is to do with internal/external energies, the case would be a matter of willing yourself to get better and being healed at a faster rate due to focusing positive energy.
Or if it is to do with a God, God would simply heal you over night (due to faith) without any other external influences.
There are most likely other possible reasons behind this. The true answer behind this is something I don't know for sure.
