I wonder why she keeps seeing animals, and that floss stuff didn't mediums use to get that coming out of there ears and thats pretty weird that she's seeing alot of it. Your grandpa must be trying to tell her something but whats with all the freaky stuff i'm sure he wouldn't be trying to scare the hell out of her. Has she gotten the house blessed again yet. I don't no but i still think you should go and stay with her as soon as possible. Have you tried to contact professionals like psychics (real ones) im sure they would no alot more about this and be able to tell you something. Can you not ring one. Keep us posted on whats happening ok, and how your grandmother is. There has to be something or someone you can contact some how.

Again last night..... the floss on the light... and chickens....... always animals....
she said she put a sheet over the dresser...... because thats where the animals are starting from.... and she said that the chicken was trying to peck the sheet off... yet when she gets up and the lights are back on, the sheet hasn't moved.......not a bit.... the other night it was a moose's head, but it had a nose on it like an ant eater..... this is what she is telling us...... I know she's not crazy... but I just don't understand what's up in her house...

1. Get a phone book
2. Look up government, county, city, whatever mental health offices and programs
3. Call such agency pronto, explain symptoms, history

Well Rob i was looking on a post the other day and this lady who claims to be a psychic with some important organisation had left a message there so i sent her a email and told her about you and where this post was and who you are, and asked her if she or anybody she knows could help, so i'm not sure if anything is going to come out of this but hopefully you will here from her. Surley she must have an idea of why this is happening or something that can help.

No she's seeing things written on the wall in red, and a person standing in the doorway with a cloak over it's head..... along with wearing gloves....

anyways.. sure hope someone gets to me soon.... so that she could talk to someone who may know....

In all seriousness, is this for real?? It does seem that someone as coherent as you sound with your own life and a family and all, you could see all this and recognize hallucinations and someone in need of help from the medical feild. Please knock off the waiting game and take Grama to the nearest respected clinic or physician in her area or your area , any area and let them know whats up. Let anyone responsible know all this and surely something positive will be done. Do you want to wait and wait and then when someone finaly helps her it will be such a progressed disease, mental or physical that to cure it will be extremely difficult?
Please, how could it hurt just to rule out something physical? She is suffering, I know I woud be if all this went on in my daily life. She cannot help herself at this point. Do Something Soon. No Joke, This is getting weirder and Iam concerned that someone may need to make a call and intervene for a family that is neglegent. Bye and Good Luck.

but how come she did see then for months she didn't, and now she is...
also... how come what she is seeing is what others thruout the world see???
she is coming up with these things as others have....

I have to agree with Chunga for once. If this real and not a scam, be a good person and make sure your grandma get some medical help. I lost my grandmother because she was not taken to the doctor when she first got sick.It broke my heart. After all these posts, I am starting to think this is a hose job.

Quite right ericraven2003. I feel that after so many posts and the increase in activity, if a real scenario, someone in their right mind would by now have sought help from a doctor.
Yet there are those who wait until its too late. My mother passed in a way that could of with the proper forsight , may have gone alot better and less ugly.
To believe or not believe. I hope there is a good solution in the near future.

My mom talks to her every nite.... and it's usually the same bit of information....

She has talked to the priest, as i have earlier said.... we just want answers.....
I know, I know, nobody wants to believe that someone is their family is ill or has a mental illness.... but if you listen to what she says..... it's all there...

again, pm me... I am asking for someone who may know, not on the mental illness side, but on the spiritual or paranormal side of this, to speak with her......

That part about how the door seemed to turn into material....I would agree with "portal" theory. Perhaps the spirits crossing between worlds causes the fabric of space itself to become distorted and flexible. After all, with so many ghost sightings and such in our world, I think it can be assumed that the spirit world is pretty much parallel to ours. We simply live on different planes of space. So perhaps the solid wood door becoming flexible and material-like shows how the space is becoming distorted in order for a link, a hole, a gateway between the two planes (ours and that of the spirit world) to form.

Btw, i thnk your grandmother's experiences are simply amazing. She's a very strong woman to deal with some such as these.

Well i gotta reply from someone that wants to help but she said she would actually need to stay a few nights in your grandmas house to see if these are for real or if your grandma is the only one that can see these things sorry i can't think straight at the moment im sick, i trying my best to make sense lol. I'll just pm you. Put poor Chunga and everyone else out of there myserie ask grandma if you can take her to see someone, tell her you no she's not crazy but just want to get her checked over, get it ruled it out, i believe everything you are saying but it is a good idea, just see if grandma would agree who knows she might suprise you and may even want to rule the medical side out for herself. I'm not going bak out on anything i said i'm 150% there and believe you but it can't hurt to ask her and to rule out the possibility that it might be in her head, anyway have you gone to stay with her yet. Good Luck Kid, its tough to have a loved one that may be dealiing with elderly confusions and getting older is just not fun sometimes. You are a great grandkid for her, even though it seems like I disagree with your reaction and actions regarding this serious matter, I admire your interest in her happiness and it shows how much you love her. You and her will get through all this, it takes time and patience. Grandma's are very special and especially to grandsons it seems. At least thats how it was with my boys and my mom.

It sounds like your grandmother is a very strong person.

I don't mean to discount anything anyone has said here, but have you thought that maybe your grandmother is having hallucinations brought on by some sort of gas? I know that sounds crazy, but if her house is heated by gas, and there is a slow leak, it might have some sort o effect like causing hallucinations. This would also go along with it only happening in the winter months, when the heat would be turned on.

Of course, I don't know what the symptoms of gas poisoning are. But I once worked in a building that had a slow gas leak (it was inspected by the gas company and could never be found) that was only noticeable on Monday mornings, when the building had been closed off all weekend. The smell was only evident in the back part of the section where I worked (lucky me!), and always was gone by Monday afternoon.

I don't mean to belittle other solutions. It's just that it's relatively simple to eliminate possible solutions that can be proved or disproved, if you know what I mean. Start with the simple, and tangible, and when that fails, THEN seek an answer in the paranormal.

And I have to agree, get your grandmother to a doctor. It's gut wrenching to find out, too late, that some simple treatment would have saved a loved one.

We have been in contact with Farah and she has given us some things to do in regards to the whole situation.. I have BABYG to thank for this..

She went to see her Dr at the end of the week and all is well with her..
I mean, he didn't go into great details, but said that she's fit as a fiddle..

She is still seeing people in the hallway by the bathroom... one looked to be my Grandpa or my Grandpa's brother... my Grandpa's brother passed away in the 80's...

I'm going to call her right now, so i'll post in a bit again.....

I have just read your post, and I feel compelled to write a response to you. I am by no means a proffesional in the areas of mental health nor paraphychology. Though, through my experiences in life I have had "paranormal" experiences with ALL of the people I have been close to in life and lost. I have seen there deaths in "visions", taking place in the past, present, and future without advanced knowledge given to me.

From what I understand from your post, the spirit that your Grandmother sees, is in fact there for a reason. The frequency to which she sees this at is the proof. The general rule of spirits, is that they may not reveal all points to which the intended person is to understand. They're role is more of the position of a guide. The spirit is there to help her find or understand something.

Each case of this changes by experience. As it seems, your Grandmother is having the same sighting at each occurance. This signafies that she has not met the first step to finding, or understanding, that which the spirit intends. The frequency to which the spirit returns, results to the significence of that which the subject is to find.

In reference to the "red object being kicked". When the vision of the spirit seems to kick a undetermined red object had happend, it adds a new piece to the puzzle that needs to be solved. Perhaps, it is spawned by your Grandmother coming closer to actually finding the first piece of what's intended to be found. On the other hand, it could be an additional "pointer" toward what the intended purpose of the spirit is.

My suggestions would be. Talk to your Grandmother. Ensure that she does not get overly excited, or upset by the sighting. Have her ease her mind when she experiences it. Fear is a tool that clouds the judgement, and she needs to have a clear and open mind for this. The fact that you have had her try these other methods, shows that she is willing, but perhaps a bit distrought, or scared of that which is unknown.

Her exceptance of this task, is needed to continue on the path to finding out what is ment for her. In this case, I believe the answer lies deep within your Grandmother herself. Perhaps a memory, that the spirit wishes for her to remember. This memory in turn, leading her to go to a place, intended by the spirit, leading her to the answer. Simply put, no one but your Grandmother will be able to answer this question.

All you can do is support her. Make sure you visit her more often. While you may not be able to help her find the answer itself, you can offer her strength, and be there for her. As I have seen, a spirit will not go away, until it's purpose has been fufilled.

I hope this has shed a little light into the ways that these things seem to work. Let me know if there is anything in specific that you would like information about. If it is something that I have had experience with, I would be more then happy to share any advice I have with you.

I wish both you and your Grandmother the best of luck, in dealing with the matters at hand.

So she went to the doctor, good, and im glad she's as fit as a fiddle and nothing medical is wrong with her. How's everything going, has farrahs ideas helped in anyway. Anything new happened. Gaia has suggested some really good things and reasons why this could be happening, hopefully your grandma will be able to figure out what she is trying to be told. Keep us informed on how she is and if the situations is getting any better or worse ok Rob, tell your grandma to take care and she is one staunch lady.

I feel bad for your grandmother, but remember, the simplest answer is probably the most likely. Your grandmother is grieving and probably feeling depressed. During moments of deep depression, sleep deprivation, or even a delirium, people can experience hallucinations. Many things in your story suggest that these things are happening. If not, it seems that these events happen only at night, which can also suggest they are just dreams or a specific type of hallucination that can occur upon awakening. Even though your grandmother thinks she is sleeping, she is probably dreaming. Help your grandmother seek appropriate and professional treatment-or did you say she has passed away? Honestly, your post was too long and I only skimmed through it.

No she is still alive and the grandfather passed away 3 years ago yet she has only started seeing these things in feb 2005. You woud think that if it was from depression it would of happened 3 years ago when he first died, not 3 years later, and citrus told us in his last post that she has been to a doctor and is as fit as a fiddle.
