Makybe Diva is officially among the greatest horses of all time. Winning Australia's biggest race for the third consecutive time, Makybe Diva has done something no other horse in history has been able to do.

Is she better than Phar Lap? She is on a par with him now in the minds of most. Yet it must not be forgotten that Phar Lap was cut off in the prime of his life. Who knows what he would have accomplished had he not died (reportedly poisoned) before he had a chance to really shine.

So again, congratualations to the mare. She's apparently retiring now. I don't want to even think about how much her foal's are going to be sold for.
