Ah, but only if Batman were unplugged from the Matrix. If he's still a product of the system, he wouldn't have a hope against him. Indeed, all SMith would have to do would be to take over his body, get himself run over by a train, hop to a new body, and no more Batty.

I have to admit, that would be pretty final, the only hope being batty's twisted psyche serving as some sort of barrier, doubtful though..

Although, coming to think of it, the Animatrix has a few examples of people breaking themselves out of the Matrix. Didn't think of that before.
