Read an shiver.
This gave me goose bumps.

It's about a strange house where people keep disappearing.
People who want to figure out it's secrets get stalked by someone or something and then disappear.

This story seems to take place on 4 or 5 different sites and B-Logs.

The Dionaea house

The Dionaea House II

The Dionaea House III

The Dionaea House IV

It seems to run on some other sites to.

Is there any hard evidence that his is a real place? Or is it a group of people trying to make people believe it is?

At the moment I'm skeptical

Ive read quite a bit of it, but it reads like a novel. If it was in paperback I could sit down and read properly, Probably would'nt be able to put it down, its as good as a Richard Laymon Novel. ohmy.gif

its a movie: http://www.thehollywoodnews.com/article/16110510.php

Warner Bros. Pictures is in talks with Australian newcomer Peter
Cornwell to direct the horror thriller "The Dionaea House". The screenplay was written by Eric Heisserer and will be produced by David Heyman.

The story centers on a married man who has grown apart from his old
friends. When one of them commits a double murder suicide, the man feels compelled to investigate, eventually stumbling upon an evil force.

Incredible story. Wow, I feel drained.

We were suspicious from the get-go, but continued reading until the end, just in case... wink2.gif There were so many levels to this; even when certain elements seemed preposterous, it was done in such an original way that it seemed plausible. Does that make sense?

I'm disappointed that it is a hoax, obviously, but it was done so well that I can only applaud Eric. As a writer myself, I admire his technique. Fantastic way to get attention!

We trailed through all of this, after reading all eleven pages of the Cult House thread (I've been interested in Cult House since I first stumbled upon it in 2002; I even began writing a story based on certain elements of the mystery - I might pick up on it someday).

Think it's time to rejoin the 'real world' now... or as close to that as we can muster.

Must say, I'm very pleased to have discovered this message board grin2.gif

Something I don't understand is how is the grammar and typing so perfect, for EVERYONE?!

Even the 16 year old girl's typing was flawless, how many 16 year olds do you know with those kinds of English skills?

EDIT: That 16 year olds blog was pretty scary...

EDIT2: Another thing I don't understand is that the Eric guy said that he couldn't talk to Connie or Jen, so he created a page on blogspace (because he couldn't put the info on the main page because Connie and Jen would see it). So he puts a link to his blogspace on the main page, wtf?
