I use PC more because of the 99% of all software support a microsoft os.

But mac is far superior then pc because its fast and easy to use especially for professional music and movie creation/editing.

Pc definetly.

Windows and Macintosh are PC's [personal computers] so I think someone should change the poll items. [Especially considering mac dealt with personal computers before windows..]

Windows has a cleaner interface, more user friendly, [although more unstable], and a gamers best friend, good old DirectX. Not to mention Multi Button Mouse original.gif which Mac's just seem to be getting the idea on... w00t.gif
Backwards compatibility b/w 8, 16, 32, 64 bit OS [Dos, Win3.x, Win32, WinXP 64]

And multimedia development [video/image, audio editting] is just as easy on a mac as on a windows computer now, whereas mac lead in the development not long ago [no idea why]

I vote windows. thumbsup.gif

Apple's MAC G5

5.0 GHZ!!! processing module (2x2.7GHZ)
512 DDR2 533MHZ-upgradable to 8GB!!!!
PCIX
120GB HD
TRI-bridge! MOBO

most people think PC is better, in some ways it is. like the infinite compatibility.
but game/music/movie developers (im talkin' Universal and 20th century FOX, and Bungie)
use the MAC G series, the G5 is the highest performance you'll get under $3,000

game developers use windows - as MOST games are written using the DirectX API.
For making cut-scenes, intro movies, models, audio they use whatever they choose.
CertifiedPublicAssasin
they have a new G5 that has 2 dual-cores at 2.5 ghz a core, tht equals 10 ghz if im not mistaken, and in those G5's, u can hve 16 gigs innocent.gif

Mac is better. I'm running Tiger 10.4.3 on dual 1.8GHz G4 with 2gigs ram and I love it.
I use protools 6.9 software and it runs with no problems.
If your looking for stability and style, Apple's the way to go.

I couldn't find a Mac when I was looking for a laptop to buy.
evil_kenshin
because i use pc mainly for games, windows has more support thus most games run on windows

PC, definitely. Can build my own PC for a fraction of the price of a slower Mac. Also, I am a gamer and a 3D modeler/animator. Not much of that can be done on the Mac.

Also, sound editing and audio is done quite easily on the PC. Avid Xpress is just as good as Final Cut Pro, and there is Reason, Vegas, Sound Forge and many other programs which can run on the PC just as well as the Mac.

The only bad thing about PCs is that anyone can build one and sell it, therefore you may end up with a bad PC, but get one from someone who knows what they are doing, and you have a very nice machine. (did I say for a fraction of the price already?)

Looks like Pc is winning so far!

As I like to play games on my puter I prefer the PC, this little video from the Red vs. Blue guys explains why original.gif

Mac gamer

This one is hilarious too, go PC grin2.gif

Frustrated Mac user
distortedpandy
I voted PC.

I had a mac for about a month, ended up selling it because the software and interfaces were waaayyy too expensive for me (I use it mainly for recording). Plus I was so used to windows, I felt dumb using a mac laugh.gif
Neo2005
I voted for PC.
But i love MAC because they have an incredible machine to run and splice together your own media.
Paranoid Android
PC - not because I'm a big fan of the PC so much, but the MAC sucks, IMO
Megalomania
Once a mac almost made me cry tongue.gif
It was so frustrating!!!
Okay, well I wasn't close to crying.. I was a bit closer to calling up my mum sick...

Whichever works better for games. The developers usually say 'Windows Xp required', so i'll vote PC grin2.gif

I vote pc.

I like the pc better because of some of the features. I like the start menu it is a great feature. I LOVE THE RIGHT CLICK. I like the run, telnet, cmd, and lots of other commands that only windows has to offer. But mostly it's just because I am used to it. I get frustrated when I am working with apples products. The only thing from Apple that I use is my iPod (It is running linux so it doesnt really count as being Apple)

PC grabs my vote

1. I play a variety of videogames, I doubt many of them would run on a mac
2. I grew up using Windows, I'm used to it, and I like it better
3. I absolutely HATE the "spinning wheel of death", as my school calls it. Its that rainbow wheel where the cursor should be when the Mac is loading a page or application. Absolutely HATE IT.
4. The fact that my school purchased macs pissed me off and made me hate macs more because .. I dunno why actually.. it JUST DID
5. Compatibly sucks. Earlier this year, I had a book report due, it was on my Jump disk/drive/key, and despite the fact that is was a Microsoft Word document, and the mac DID have MS Word, it still failed to open.
6. Where the hell's the floppy drive? Yes I know floppys are going out the window, but I just re-discovered my dad's old laptop, which doesn't burn CDs, can only read them, and the only way to output data is through a floppy, or the internet, but its old.. and I don't feel like attempting to make it internet worthy. (By the way, if any of you want to donate to "Get-Alex-a-good-laptop-fund", PM me w00t.gif )
