I know this topic is a few months old, but does anyone know roughtly what that link contained? Apple has apparently deleted that discussion. I would greatly appreciate knowing how to fix this

Well, since nobody else has replied to this, I guess I'll say how I fixed it. I used the search feature that Windows provides for looking up files to find all files that ended in .itl. Once it finished, there were four files on this particular system, which I selected, right clicked, and selected "Properties" from the menu that popped up. Once I unchecked the "Read-Only" box and hit "Apply," everything came up great.
Trying to fix this over e-mail is not the way to go (or in a bulletin board like this), but hopefully you can follow these instructions.
