Hi folks.

Just finished watching Serenity, after watching the whole TV series. It was absolutely awesome. I cannot believe they'd make a movie and then cut the show. It just doesn't make sense. So I am trying to find the powers that be to let them know exactly what I think of their decision and attempt to pursuade them to do otherwise.

So, does anyone have an email/address I can spam with very nicely worded hate mail? If so, please post details. If not, and you want to keep the show too, post your interest here, and when I find a posting address, I'll add your username to the petition.

Im pretty sur it will come down to the amount of money the movie makes, that will decide in networks minds whether to give a second series a shot.... rather then a petition. But I shall sign it, just to keep face..lol

The show though, is so well put together and the actors/actresses are perfect for their spot. I just don't see why they had to so rudely cancel it.

Adam Baldwin (one of the few actors, where I know their name ) is awesome as Jayne. He fits it perfectly.

But yeah, I totally agree. I wonder how the movie did at the box office.

They did it earlier this year as the latest! With "The Inside" it was awesome, and again... Adam Baldwin was in it.

Maybe FOX has a vendetta against the Baldwin's

The biggest indication yet that they should have another season of FIrefly -

I've been going around the past few days looking for the series on DVD (I'd borrowed it before from a friend). Not a single shop that I searched within a 30 minute radius of my house had a copy left. All of them were like, yeah, we've sold out, it'll be in soon, but it always sells out within two days of getting the delivery.

Also, for the past week, none of the discs were in at the video shop, with a perpetual 3-day waiting list to hire it.

If the demand is this great, shouldn't there be another series?

Yeah, all the discs at Family Video were checked out when I was there the other day.

I think it should be illegal to hang a series like that!

If they really wanted to... they could drag this out 3 to 4 seasons, kind of like Andromeda where they go around, do jobs to survive while trying to figure out the Alliances motives and secrets, while making allies to fight with uniting them to fight.

This is so awesome, I wish I could find the poster like this in real life. If I could then I could die happy.

firefly was a great show cancelled before its time. serenity is a awesome movie best space movie i have ever seen

As an avid watcher of everything Joss Whedon has ever made, I'd have to say that I'd love another Firefly season/movie. Serenity was fantastic. I tried my best to support the money needs, by buying Serenity, a Firefly box set for myself, and another as a gift, but what can one person do?
