The title seems a little ove to me but it was kind of an interesting read. At least the person appeared to seriously and personally investigate the claims. That I liked.

I believe that the soul exists on an entirely different plane- and therefore cannot be viewed from this one.

I heard when you die you bring your aura with you.
ShadowDG
I believe that the souls are on this planet but can be seen by us only by some like mediums grin2.gif

I've experienced some auric healing techniques as part of a massage therapy curriculum. The teachers and assistants who are really into this stuff claim to be able to see auras (they make a lot of bizarre claims based on "channeled" information).
Most of the training in the field involves imagination and faith. With that said, when done sincerely the effects of such work can be felt and make real changes. Skeptics often say this works like a placebo, discounting the fact that a placebo has a real healing effect. I can honestly say, after doing and recieving this work I have no proof or evidence that would convince a skeptic.
I think the problem is that in order to work with stuff like this one must approach it with faith in it's reality. To test this stuff scientifically one has to come at with with doubt.
Bio-Mage
The auras as reported from those individuals is a load of mumbo jumbo.
