Found this great optical illusion today and thought you guys might like it
Are squares A and B the same shade of grey ?

well well well yes they do. They both have an RGB value of 107;107;107.
Fooled me enough that I had to double check it.

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! what the heck? thats kinda scary...they dont look at all similar, except for the fact that they are both grey...

Hmmmmmmmm...............They donīt look the same to me. no matter how I look at them, theyīre to different shades of grey.

They are definately the same shade. This is a proven fact under color analysis. They are all equal values of RGB (red, green, blue...the three primary light colors used by your monitor) The shade uses 107 values of each to acheive the shade, and both squares are using the same shade. Here, I have isolated the 2 squares so that they may be compared without comparing them to their surroundings....this makes it easiest to see the truth, without you brain messing things up by trying to compensate.

Look at them thru a small pipe or something and you will see that they are the same.....on the original picture too ..

But the letters arenīt the same color....

but the shadow of the block and the different colored letters make it look like it's not

Yes they are the same shade because a represents b and b represents a.

no, it's not really an optical iilusion. It means that square A and the letter b are the same color. there is no way the two squares match

no because be is darker in a grey look but from the human eye that is what it seems but from a computer probably about the same.
