Hey everyone, I'm kind of new to this forum but anyhoo I wanted to ask some questions or take some suggestions from anyone that may know about what I'm going to attempt.


I have heard from some that 3 AM is a signifigant hour for demonic spirits, or "the dwelling time of the devil" supposedly it is meant to mock the exact time in which Christ died on the cross, but I'm not so sure if this is accurate or for that matter signifigant.



What I'm going to attempt is for someone's sake that has been tormented by a demonic spirit that has started to harrass her since she played with the ouija board ( some of you know who this person is ) I'm going to summon this spirit into my house and confront it, first of all, does anyone have any suggestions to what I could do to protect myself and what I could do to summon this spirit.



I have found the rite to exorcism, but I understand that only Catholic priests are really advised to use it so does anyone have any suggestions or ideas that could help?

First of all, an exorcism reqiures studing ancient books usually from Vatican librarys.

Second of all, don't do it unless you have a strong spirit.

Third of all, have people present so you don't get your arse kicked by a spirit.

I'd say wear a cup so it can't go for a low blow.

Mmmm.............good point, but there are actually thousands of different ways to cast out demons and exorcisms and that whole mess, but anyhoo, I will consider doing those things when people are around.

You may be one to something there. I have had several events that have happened at 3am . Knew that because I immediately looked at my bedside clock. But!!!! They were not demonic. It makes sense to me that spirits would come out at that time because they get a little bored with everyone being asleep.

3/4 AM is the time when the spirit world is closeset the the physical world, supposedly. Although, it can be good or bad spirits.

Hey dude, i think it is really cool that you that want to help out your friend but i dont want you hitting above your weight. Now i know nothing about exorcisms except that any Christian has the athority to call on the name of Jesus for help against any demonic activity. Now i dont know if you are a Chritian or not but keeping the following scripture in mind ( Acts:13-16) i really recommend you ask some Christian elders to pray for your friend. i am only saying this because demonic forces should not be taken lightly and it would be more prudent to call on some Christains with experience and who will no what to do if things get out of hand. I have read that verse, I"m not looking for power, I'm looking for relief for this person's well being, although I will take what you've said into consideration, that's not my plan in this case.

I'm going to bait it somehow into my home and use a ritual of exorcism to send it away.

Unless you are trained to deal with a demonic entity, DON'T MESS WITH THEM!! This isn't something that can be joked around with. The power that exists to them is beyond a humans ability to deal with without having God on your side. Being a christian, in my opinion, is crutial. The Holy Spirit will protect you, but even priests have a hard time dealing with a demon during an exorcism, depending on what the demon is and how strong it is. Like angels, who have different roles and strengths, demons are also this way. A demon that has a lower role and strength is more easily delt with as oppossed to Satan himself, which only God or Jesus themselves can deal with. Micheal, the archanglel, is not as strong as Satan.

The person who said you need a strong spirit is correct. You opening yourself up to forces that you don't understand. By "calling it out", your inviting the possibility of being possessed yourself, or inviting the demon to oppress you. This isn't for the untrained. You may be granted an exorcism by the church, but it will be tough. The Catholic church doesn't do many exorcism anymore, with some denouncing the practice all together.

Are you sure it's a demonic possession and not a psychological condition?

Good luck with this. I hope your friend is o.k.. Please think about other ways of getting rid of this problem before you try to do it yourself.

I heard a little bit about this, but I'm used to the "3:15AM" not just flat out 3AM.

Reading some of these things creep me out a little bit ... especially reading that a lot of people wakeup at 3AM. I know I do the same, to go pee or get some water and I'm always terrified that somethings going to grab me. Lol but then again it's dark and usually I'm all by myself, so.

3AM, I am sleeping and so is the cat. If there was a demon in the room she would wake me. I don't think demon would want to mess my cat in defense mode. I have seen spirits at all times of the day. I don't think there is a particuler time for making trouble.

Dark Wind is right, However sometimes it can be easier to see them slow their vibration at night.

I used to only see spirits at nigh , now I see them all the time in everything.

Pray for the person with another person present. Where two or more are joined in the name of Jesus Christ in prayer, the holy spirit is present. Which means that prayer is powerful enough to help anyone . It is the intent of the heart that God hears so he will take care of those who call upon him for serious help concerning a fellow human being.

Thats my advice , so be kind and know Im not telling anyone what they have to do but what I know from my own experience and knowledge, thats all. Good luck to you and your friend.
Its realy cool that you want to help.

Keep in mind though that if the 3am thing is true , it wont help due to other demons getting in the way of the help and good intentions of the heart. Catch the demons at there weakest point of time whatever that may be.

be careful summoning the entity to where you are...but if you can at least you know it may be coming...you can protect yourself...the only way i know to protect yourself is by the Blood of Jesus...you can also take authority over if the same way...Jesus assures us that we have the authority and the strength to win these battles...will it be quick an easy?...you know yourself that it can be a real battle for some length of time...be very careful...choose your spot to fight...choose your time to fight (rested and ready)...do not allow the entity to dictate any terms...there is no need to talk to it other than ask it's name...you can use anything you want to expell it...make sure that the person who is being tormented does not do anything that will allow it to come back...if it is allowed to come back, plan on a lot more trouble....write if i can help...i will try....

hmm i recall a book written by the german Dr.Faust, Wittenberg, 1524
it tells of a conjuring book hed found and skepticall he summoned a demon and demon said "who seeks a pact with me" and faust explained that was not necessary
enraged that a mere amatuer would summon him he told faust you will make a pact or i will kill you and since there is no seal to prevent this it will be easy

so unwittingly he made the pact
as the journal goes on he explains the other spells in the book but also how the demon basically owned him

but unfortunatly it was ordered destroyed

Threads only ever used to be locked after being necroposted because all the old members would have moved on and the discussion was dead. As long as there's discussion you don't need to lock something just because it's been bumped up...why does no one realize that?

There are no demons. Ghosts, ignorant (mean-spirited) or otherwise, are active all the time. I usually meditated around 2:30 or 3:00 a.m. until dawn, and I've never encountered any demons, devils, blah. There are badass ghosties, but demons..., NO DICE. And yes, certain rituals are quite effective to drive away negative souls, ghosts, vibes.

Considering the original date of this thread, and the membership status of the thread starter, I think it is a good idea to lock this one up.
