Hey all. I am new to this. My friends and I just started getting interested in legends, ghosts, etc. I know many of you have heard of the SARATOGA LIGHT also known as Bragg Road. Well, that is not far from where I live. My question is does anybody know of any other sightings, scary places or hauntings near Houston, Beaumont, Lufkin, etc. I would really enjoy hearing about them. Thanks

Sorry, I don't have any Ghost stories located in the US, but I have a mouth-full of Ghost sightings on my Island.
If you would like to hear about them, just reply...

We have a castle on the Island, and the Tour guides and tourists keep on seeing this Woman and children standing on the draw bridge, staring at them.
The woman was hung because one of her kids dissappeared. And she was the suspect.
And the woman in this mansion- she often appears sitting on a chair, staring into the Bookcase.
And a Poltergeist in a small village. It thumps children in the middle of the night in your back.
And there's the Night man. He appears whenever a storm is in the bay, but he helps people...
After a period of many years of inactivity the ghost of Tantaloo, the site of an old mill was seen by a group of tourist hiking up north of the island. Two of the group of five from the mainland admitted seeing the weird figures of ` An old woman in grey cloak and a peculiar head-dress which she was waving about`. It has been impossible to identify the woman or the date the unusual head gear though it has been suggested it resembles the type of that worn by a Victorian fish-wife. The phantom faded away after only a few seconds on both occasions.
And I nearlly forget the most popular tale of them all-
The moody Doo is a black dog sighted inside another castle.
About 200 years ago (or something like that) the guards were staying the night.
One of the guards was drunk.
They heard a howl, and saw a black dog in the cellar.
They were all scared. But the drunken one agreed that he was going to check it out.
When he went down the steps, and in the dark light, he screamed, and ran out.
His face was white as a sheet, and blood trickled from his face.
He fell over, and died...
And my relative went down into a mine once, and the entrance to the inner-mine was blocked off, so they took a picture.
When they had it developed, a miner was saw digging....
I have many more about England aswell...
purrrfect!

Sorry, I don't. Every picture that someone finds of something like that they send it away to the goverment. It never gets sent back....
Beleive it or not, we have a vampire buried in chains down the road.
Legend had it that if you break the chains, he will come back to life.
