Does it seem to you that the sun has gotten brighter over the last 20 years, if yes why?

No.
Although it
has done so in some areas due to reduction in pollution. However it's takes specialised equipment to determine this. It's not perceivable to the human eye.

Personally, it doesn't seem to me that the sun has gotten brighter over the last 20 years. Technically, though, it has, although on a very small level, since our Sun's luminescence has been increasing steadily since it first ignited as a star.
