im kind of new to the artist thread, not so much art though... anyways if theres any aspiring songwriter's out there that also take part in this forum, this is for you. my question was related to poetry/music. as a amateur, i was wondering on how to go about turning poetry into music, yeah i know you're probably thinking that is too easy. it isn't just any poetry like your simple ABAB rhyme scheme. it's more complex. it almost tells a story. actually it does but i am just trying to paint a picture here. i know there ARE songs like that, but as a beginner, do any of you or fellow artists find it easy or hard to match complex lyrics with melodies. oh also i left out just what genre the music is. its rock but its open for being mixed with almost any other genre yada yada yada. now i remind you that i am in the very early stages of the music. so this is all brainstorming and etc. i don't want to post the actual lyrics on here for the same reasons as others of people seeing the finished product before its done and etc. but i was just wondering if anyone, anybody at all could relate to my situation. alright later. thanks for reading anyways... and yeah. peace.
