Nine times out of ten, the news broadcast we watch and read often leaves us either, appalled, angry, & sad, rarely we get to hear/read news that leaves us stunned and happy at the same time.

I for one hate reading about some poor kid that has went missing for days, then found dead in a ditch somewhere miles from home, and later reported to have been sexually assaulted before they where murdered. These type of stories used to pop up quite regular, as it had gotten to a point where there was hardly a week had went by and you didn’t read a storey like it.

A few years ago I was watching the news and once again another baby had gone missing and of course it’s parents where hoping their baby would turn up safe & sound and at the same time they where frantic.
The following day, I switched on the news to see if there had been any updates on this missing baby, low and behold there it was the update on the missing child, they had found the baby and what had me stunned was the baby had been fine the whole time
They had the babies parents on screen being interviewed by the tabloids, and I waited to hears what had actually happened.
Turns out the child’s grandfather had taken it for a drive in his car without saying a word.

Apparently when the grandfather was driving he had went over a small cliff, which caused the car to roll over several times and crashed. The following day the police had found them, the grandfather was dead but the baby was sitting yards away from the car without so much as a scratch on him, in fact the lil one was just sitting there and not a peep out of it.
This had the police stunned with amazement, that this lil baby had survived such a crash without being hurt, and what had stunned them more so, was how the baby made it out of the car, without a scratch and was sitting comfortably yards from the scene!!
The child’s parents could not believe what they had heard when the police had told them how they found their baby safe & sound.
The child’s father was a lil sad that his dad was found dead but at the same time he couldn’t hold back the joy of his child’s safe return.

WEIRD blink.gif

The weird thing about it all was how the baby made it out of the car safely without a scratch and at the same time the grandfather had died from the accident. People where wondering if the grandfather had placed the child to safety before he died, but then again he was found still in the drivers seat wearing his seat belt!!
Some believe that as soon as the grandfather had died he had gotten the baby form the wreckage and placed him where he could been seen safe & sound. No one really knows how the baby made it to safety but at the same time glad it did.
No matter how it happened ( a bit of a mystery ) the out come was weird but amazing, it’s stories like this I love to read & hear about, as it’s not every day you get to find out that a child has gone missing and later is found safe & sound.

Indeed I remember reading about this awhile ago. I think there may even have been a thread on it.

Beckys_Mom do you have a link to any news stories on this event.

Gee I wish I did, but it wouldn't hurt for me to try and look it up.

I was surprised I remembered most of the storey, but I think the reason s to how I was able to post it, was because it had stuck in my mind for quite some time now (a few years now) and it was one of those stories that you like to hear about, rather than the ones that have a horrific outcome, if you understand what I mean.

As I was typing the whole thing out, I was wrecking my brains to recall the name of the baby and it's parents, to be honest I can't even recall if the baby was male or female so for the sake of my post I made it male.

Thanks guys for taking the time to read it, and I will try and find out more info on it.

Perhaps there are members here from the UK & Ireland can help as it was broadcasted on the main news channel??!!

It's an Unbreakable Baby.

Very sad about the death, but quite amazing that the toddler survived. Were the weather conditions harsh at all?
Beckys_Mom
No fortunatley for the lil baby the weather was fine...but it still has me wondering how it survived it all, and I recall the police report saying...

That when thy found the baby, it looked as though it was placed there by someone else, and the baby remained calm.
I find that unusual as you all know that babies do cry a lot when they are lonely and need to be fed....!!! blink.gif

Old man = frail.......Baby = flexible(I think it's called "crumple effect")

Well i reckon the baby got chucked out the window of the car when it was rolling (car window must have been broke cos of the many rolls of the car unless it had a roll cage) the timing must of been perfect and the baby must of landed perfect without a scratch !

That is an amazing story . . . bitter sweet!
