I usually make (yes, I said make) my sig/avatar sets based around something I really enjoy. Be it a game, a movie, or even a band. Every now and then I make one simply based off of a random picture I find on the internet, of course it's a picture I like, too.

I have had a few pics of aliens in my doc's folder so it was easy to quickly add one ofr my avatar, as for my signature I have yet to come up with one, and it's not so easy when so far I have seen some really awsome sig's in this forum...so I guess I will try something simple, and keep it short and sweet

I just stick an interesting picture in my avatar spot and hope that people will read the quotes in my signature. I'm graphically challenged, so I just make them purple - me favorite color.

I've had many avatars in the past, including Tonberry (FF8), Sephiroth, Sonic, a couple of my own invention, car drawings, and now Tenchi stuff.

Now that I have GIMPshop, I usually make my own sigs and avatars or modify others.
I like Ryoko, and when I saw the one in my siggy I knew it was perfect. I added that neat little flare and fog in the background.

My Alan Partridge avatar because he is hilarious, Steve Coogan producing English comedy at its best.

I chose my avitar b/c I like Betty Boop and also because an ex-boyfriend gave me that nickname a long time ago...LOL Don't have a signature yet, haven't had the time to work on one.

I had another avatar a couple of days back. Then i wanted to change it to something that represents my name more,(read it backwards), so i searched nogard on the internet, but misspelled it (nograd), and it turns out that it is a sity in europe, so i took their symbol.

I chose my Avatar basically because I don't have 'web name,' is that what they are called? My name is Lauren (I like to be me) and I wanted something that would represent femininity but also be relatively unobtrusive...I am rather introverted. The other reason is that even were I to want something different I just couldn't do it, being utterly baffled by comp. terminology etc.

well.. I chose my avatar because I like pixies and fairies (hence my name here.. LoL) and I'm a major night person-so when I found this avatar of a fairy sitting on a moon.. I had to use it. Although I would like to find one that has more color and visibility.

My sig just shows that I'm a weird person. The quote I used in it is actually from one of my biggest writing inspirations: Edgar Allan Poe.. and I just found that picture while surfing on the net. I'll probably change that sig around when I have more time to work harder on it. Heh.

I chose my avatar because I like cats and thought it was cute and very true kitty like. I miss my cats (hubby alergic so now we have dogs ) but I still love them.
