Some people are getting their X360's already, not sure why.

The only reason I want the 360 is for PDZ
But their seem to be mixed reactions. On one side people say it sucks mostly do to the poor graphics and character design, and a list of gameplay modes that are not in the game that were in PD64. On the other side they say its fun to play the first 3 levels and multiplayer are great but the more they play the game the more they start to hate it. And their are those who say its still good because of the gameplay is fun. And the music the two composers that were in goldeneye and PD64 are not in PDZ the music have been replaced with Dance music what kind of shooter plays dance music. Yeah and no blood.
I've seen some beautiful pics and vids but at the same time I've seen some horrible vids and pics not even close to dreamcast standards.
If PDZ gets a bad review then I just wait!

Not a lot of games, What! This is the most launch game for any system! The psp had what like 2,3 games the ps2 was even worse. plus XBL arcade give even more games.
No competition, What that has to do with anything don't buy the 360 because the Rev and Ps3 is not out. It should be an ideal time to buy it buy it now and later you will have money to buy the rev or ps3 later
Hidden cost, wow you need an HDTV to see the games in HD. Microsoft is forcing us to buy an HD when the games look good anyway on SD.
Other systems are out, yeah the ps2 is out but you couls also buy C&C soda over coke and pepsi, you could buy cloths from walmart over expensive name brand clothing.
I bet they say the same thing or something worse about the rev and or ps3 launch

Firstly, I said SOME of their arguments. As in: not all. They were saying that some good games were coming out that don't require an Xbox 360.

Have you visited the topic about it? Kaze loves it and IGN gave it like an 8.
Basically, their gist was that it is an expensive console with a graphical update. And not even that if you don't have an HD tv. Although, they did exaggerate it. Your coke analogy is bad, because sometimes the store brand is as good as coke but cheaper.
From what I've heard, PDZ will be given an average rating of about 8/10. Most sources have said that it is good, but not the Xbox 360's killer app. A lot of reviewrs have said that it didn't feel finished, which is ironic given how long it has been in development.

As with any gaming console, it's benefit (IMO) is it does not become obsolete an hour after you open the box. With a PC, you are forking out $2000 or more for a quality one, and six months later, it's crap and there's new and better on the market. And a year or two from getting it, the games coming out won't work on the machine.
With a gaming console (for argument's sake, let's use the Xbox360 as an example), you might pay $500 dollars (or less if you wait for it to drop in price) and you'll have a console which will play new games four years or more in the future.
That's my take on things at least.

walmart did not do pre-orders and they have most of the 360's as do bestbuy! So you still can get one if you go early.

while i am a sony fanboy i pitty austrlaian gamers who were planning on getting the xbox360, first of all release date is delayed to march 2 then our price is more than what its supposed to be (Even with adding converson rates and taxes) and to top the icing on the cake, australian xbox 360 games won't have HD-TV support (mentioned by team xbox)

I didn't get mine... In a town of around 4000 people there were 300 waiting in line at WALMART. One person while leaving, said that she had been there since 1PM waiting for it... That's like 11 hours!

I did not get one either, I just could not camp out. But I stopped by Sears they had three but they were core packs.
9000 is way too much for a 360 and the guy has a 1 buyer feed back he mightt be for real.
Perfect dark zero is getting a lot of 8.5-8.8's but the one that stands out the most is Gamespot which gave it 9.0. I guess its good. Kind of funny the original got a 9.9 I hope they improve PD0 it with the downloadable contents they talked about maybe but in the game modes that the original had like Counter Ops.

Alright good news guys, for some of us at least. I did happen to get an xbox 360 yesterday. However, it was after sitting in front of a store in the freezing rain/wind all night and some of the morning. But it was worth it. Bill gates will pay someday, but for now this will suffice.

Thats cool. But I want to wait for them to incorporate the High Def DVD player in the XBox360 so I won't have to have 2 jumbo machines sitting under my tv. Understand where i'm going? I want to use as little resources as possible....one machine...one remote....HD Videogaming and DVD
