Yes, it seems as though this has been debunked. But then, you have to wonder (well, i do), if this was a cover-up, and if so, why come out with it after 23 years (the incident happened in 1980, and the BBC explanation was dated 2003)? ), what i am getting at is, we can't even believe that this was a hoax. Maybe it was , maybe it wasn't. How can you tell?
You can't rely on word-of-mouth anymore, for the obvious reasons, but how are we supposed to believe anything, when the same arguments can be used for both sides (both sides of view...skeptics, believers)? Maybe i'm just being paranoid... I don't know, but if someone understands what i mean, and agrees with me, let me know...
