Greetings from Canada...currently the land of blowing leaves and frosty nights.
I am a 59 yr. old male, married (happily) for 35 years and have 2 sons aged 35 and 31.
My interests are compatible with the intent of this board and I hope to dust off the dog-eared books in my library in the search for answers to some of the most ancient of mysteries.
I am largely self-taught, having been interested in the mysteries for 40 years, and have had my initial indoctrination into that endeavor through the lessons given me by A.M.O.R.C.
Although I did not sustain my membership in that group, blaming circumstance rather than disinterest, I have maintained a constant study of Theology and Philosophy because of that organisation.
Over and above all, I am a lover of the world, in all of its nature and creatures, including humanity.
It is my current opinion that there never has been an era as we are living in at this moment, in all of our historical references. We are on the cusp of a New Age and all of what that encompasses.
I welcome the discourse which I hope my joining will initiate.

Welcome masqua, glad you could join us! Enjoy your stay

Thank you, I'm expectant of great things here, after seeing the ample information and discussion already well underway here.
BTW...that's a lovely avatar and looks very familiar. There is a symbology within it which is quite evocative of myth. I'd love to hear your explanation of it sometime.
Thanks also to Welsh Shaun and darkknight

Thanks Nativechick1989...I believe I will enjoy UM. It may be awhile before I start a thread myself (at least until I've had ample opportunity to peruse the various topics already covered here) but, I certainly will be adding to existant threads whenever I feel I may have something to contribute.

Thanks for the great welcome Paranoid Android, Burnside, Shakezula, gandalf2013, Kratos, Katsey and Peako.
As I'm going through this site, I'm impressed by the quality of the posts as well as the general respect shown by the members for each other.
Speculations upon the mysteries is not without heaps of debate. Rather the opposite is true.
From what I've read (which is not much...yet), I feel quite easy about plunging into an issue and that's a good thing.
I notice posters from America, Australia, Canada and the UK. Isn't it great to be able to share information from around the globe? I believe this ability to be key in the search for answers. The web as archive and the transglobal sharing of opinion are, combined, a relatively new tool in revealing the truth behind the myths, but, nevertheless a most hopeful one.
See you on the boards, where you will, no doubt, get to know me much better.

It's kinda late to say "Hi! I'm new" because I've been posting for several days, but well I hope I get to read interesting things and hopefully post interesting stuff too.
