Full Version: unidentified piece of metal?

My astronomy teacher told me that a group of scientists found a huge piece of solid metal in the desert. It was about 10 feet by 5 feet. It couldn't be dented, broken, ripped, or scratched. He said that the weirdest part was that it was huge, but a child could pick it up. No one could identify where it came from, and they said that it must have come from somewhere beyond Earth. Has anyone heard of this before? Is it real? Or did my teacher make it up? dontgetit.gif

He gave up working to go on tour with it ....the guys got his own website.....sh**, now i'll have to go looking for it or it will annoy the hell outa me

Sounds like the same material as the Roswell Crash. But could the material be bent? And also what desert exactly? What country?

Pheeew...i'm back...The guys name is Bob White (not Larry ).And if i remember rightly he saw a UFO take of in the Nevada desert got out to have a look and saw this piece drop out of it.
He's had loads of tests done on it and even though it's constituent parts are identifiable, as an alloy it is unknown on Earth.
I think his site is called Museum of the unexplained
xstortionist
well its not unidentified if it's claimed to be metal...there is also another guy who has many o unidentified alloys that he refuses to allow scientists to study....he says it would cost the scientists 1,000,000 a day to study what he has found.

That's a hex nut imbedded in some melted material. I really, really doubt that aliens who can travel between stars use hex nuts just as humans do. If it's not a fake, it could possibly be part of a human spacecraft or satellite that reentered and broke apart.

If it is from an alien ship, it's good news. We'll be able to drag any alien ship we capture to an auto repair shop and borrow their tools to take it apart!

edit: I just read all of the story. The object has "U.S." stamped on it.
"Unearthly Spacemen"? "Ugly Squidlings"?

it says SU on the piece of metal...not US i think its from soviet union.

If it was from the Soviet Union, then the abbreviation would not be SU as Soviets did not speak English... laugh.gif

For an advanced civilization capable of star travel there spaceships sure don't impress me.
Crashing, things falling of,they just don't build them the way they used to. rolleyes.gif

I know .....he suggested that they were carrying out repairs of some kind and this piece was surplus to requirements.....i actually exchanged a few e-mails with this guy at one time...when he used to post at www.unexplainable.net
they stopped the forum for some reason...anyhoo ,he bought a coach and travels around with the piece on show.....i agree though .hardly the most conclusive evidence

this object has NOTHING to do with the bob white material in reed springs missouri, the "larry" is larry kerkander or close on the spelling. bob whites metal looks nothing like this. i have held the BW object maytimes. the one posted here is NOT IT. its shaped like a pine cone with aprox the same texture. but some sort of metal. its longer and larger in everyway then the posted object. wrong color to.
thunder81345
bob whites material was found in colorado. he saw it drop from a ufo and dug it up after it was cool enough to pick up with a towl or mome cloth. there was a woman with him at the time. she passed the polygraph test to. pictures and the story can be found at hard evedence.come. enter hard evedence in google you will find it .

ive herd of the giant metal peices in the desert, they were found in a canyon in the desert and supposedly carry information, also apparently there are supposed to be a few more scattered around the earth, iono how legit all of this is but...
MrMajestic
I think this Bob White dude just wants to sell his damned book.
