I have this phobia of spiders. I'm afraid one night a spider will crawl in my bed and kill me. Every time I see a spider I completely flip out, I always think it's going to jump on me and bite me until I die. Even the big brown crickets scare the hell out of me. Anyone else got a similiar phobia?

I'm afraid of Great White Sharks and deep water(probably because of sharks). I absolutely hate the movie Jaws, it scares me look what you have done!

I kill spiders, cockroaches and wasps with my bare hand.

I am somewhat phobic about swimming in deep dark water...so I don't.

I'm afraid of two things. They are irrational, I know, but it's the truth.

1 - I'm afraid of crickets. THey jump, and they...... well, jump. ANd they're scary as hell. I love spiders, at least they don't jump (most don't anyway).

2 - standing on the edge of train platforms. It's strange. I can stand and look over a 10,000ft drop and think it's cool, but go crazy scared when I stand on the edge of a itty 5ft drop.

Go figure

heights, snakes, deep water (I love fishing and being on a boat as long as I can see the shore, and will not go swimming somewhere if I can't see the bottom), skunks (during the summer, I will NOT go for a walk with my dog if it's dark outside)

5. ghosts (im a believer, i remember once that the door shut once radomly really hard no one home except me and there was no windows open, i hope it was my grandma because she was really nice to me and she passed away last year, anways always when i was on my computer she always use to shut the door, SCARY)

Dang, so many people are afraid of deep water. I didn't know that.

I dont have any Phobias. However, I do have two fears - Daddy Long Legs, and the fear of not succeeding my ambitions.

There can be so many things in that deep water, like SHARKS!!! Or some kind of ancient dinosaur, lol.

Walking past large dogs, they can see the fear in my eyes.

I guess I have a phobia of people, I dont like being involved in big group activities, I prefer 1 on 1.....

I'm not afraid of things in the water, I'm not even afraid of the water. Once as a kid while swimming in a lake I decided to swim out as far as I could toward the middle of the lake
'under water', eyes open, cruising the bottom like a shark. At one point, the contour of the bottom slanted toward the deep and I followed it. The water got very cold, and dark and I shot up like a rocket to the surface....

I made myself swim across the bottom of a pool at night...it was difficult but I did it.

Chickens. I hate freakin chickens. But I will fry chicken any day of the week. Just I don't like live ones. Or stuffed ones for a while. I am doing much better.

I have a real severe fear of vomit!! Doing, seeing it, seeing someone else do it, thinking of it, *shudders* *gags* It's no wonder I dont have kids yet!

I even make someone I trust see a movie for me before I do!! Ever notice how many puke scenes there are in movies now days!

I would definately say it has affected my life! I have dropped my plan to go into the dental field because I heard the tools make many people gag and vomit, I havent had kids because I am afraid of morning sickness and we all know kids puke ALOT! and I wont even go to the theater or rent myself a movie.

Otherwise, I'm kind of afraid of spiders, but more like I just dont like them, it used to be worse, but I dont flip out about them anymore, I once jumped out of a moving car because of a spider! But now days as long as they are not jumping or running at me I'm ok!

I also have another fear... of people touching their eyeballs. I have no problem with just regular eyeballs (even played with one once (cow, not human) but seeing people touch their own eyes freaks me out!

I'm afraid of

1. Heights....big time.....

2. Chucky, the doll from Child's Play. It gave me like 3 nightmares when i saw it as a kid.

3. Running on concrete....because my sister fell once and really hurt her face...

4. Blood and people's insides, I get a shivery feeling when someone in my family talks about how they were hurt physically..I think this is an actual medical condition

Spiders and Cats are my main phobias...but I guess if I wanna be real honest to myself I have to admit to a fear of people. UM is a kind of testing ground for me...like dipping one's toes in the water...warily.

Fear of little girls? I'm afriad of drowning and small boats. Though I can swim...

Any insect, any sea creatures except for certain mammals, heights, deep water, the dark, paranormal activity, looking stuped, people finding my inner thoughts and feelings, living alone, being alone, talking with strangers and a lot more I can't think of right now.

Let's just say I've been proven positive for OCD.

edit: People looking me in the eye, looking people in the eye, shaking a strangers hand, knowing someone is watching me, Christianity or any other religion being right, reptiles, amphibians, small mammals, i'm also afraid of anything small than my index finger or larger than a van.

edit 2: Litte children that I can't understand when they speak. Old people knowing they could die at any moment. Catching a chronic disease such as Hepititas C or HIV, and Karma.

edit 3: puppets, clowns, statues, especially dolls. Death of other people I know, fire, lightining, the feeling of fear itself, rage, shadows, computer viruses, spyware, adware, trojan horses, and sleep.

edit 4: Gore, real life gore, melee fights, gun fire, accidently screwing up and killing someone, blood, internal organs of anything makes me sick to my stomach.

That reminded me: I am afraid of AlGore becoming President some day....oooohhh shudders...

JFS- the reason i hate mimes is because they have no expression, and they follow you. and you don't know what they're thinking, and they are just terrifying can't sleep. mimes will eat me
