I think that the war in Iraq has partially been made to divert our attention. Spacecraft could be falling from the sky like raindrops in all parts of the world, and most people wouldn't notice. I just wonder what the real deal is between the FBI and Roswell now.

I think they released some declassified documents that are free for the pulic to read. And this is due to the Freedom of Information Act.

While I do belive in Extra-terrestrials and them visiting us. I dont belive that the Iraq war was to divert attention.

I think that the War in Iraq was initiated because of the Terror War and growing anti civilization sentiments in the middle east.
Think about this, when it's over the U.S. will have a friendly nation in the center of the Islamic world. A friendly nation with large oil supplies, large rivers, abundant flat land for runways, with a constitution provided by the United States. What more could the free world ask for in a terror war?

I think the war is to cover up the Santa Clause cospiracy.

The facade of the US Govt is to cover up their incompetence and lack of responsibility. The salughter in Iraq is primarily to gain private control of their oil and prevent the oil producing contries from converting petro dollars from US dollars to EU dollars (this is also the main reason that Bush wants to invade Iran and Syria, and is making hostile noises about Saudi Arabia). America has very little production function left GM may declare bankruptcy within the next 6 mos), is DEEPLY in debt, and if the oil dollars change, will become insolvent. The people in the govt do not know how to restore America's economic position and use terror and "war"(plundering) to shore up the economy. This works to the detriment of the world.

If JJTSS is right then the U.S. is going to take over the worlds oil supply and the good people at OPEC will no longer be able to sell it at the bottom dollar prices that they are so known for!
Is this any way to treat the people who threw the world into a recession in the late 1970's to get even with the West for them losing a war with Isreal?
^ Smell that? That's sarcasm ^

Would you actually trust any documents released? FOIA is a farce. Documents can be forged and said not to exist.

I believe that the United States was quickly losing it's world position to the European Union. The Euro was passing the dollar in value and the dependency on the U.S. wad quickly declining. It was obvious that the EU would pass the US in every category of world influence.
To control that growth and the threat to the prestige, power and influence of the U.S. it was determined that the European economy could be controlled by controlling the petroleum flow to Europe. Europe has little or no oil deposits and yet industry depends heavily upon Middle Eastern petroleum supplies.
The new threat to the U.S. is the current talks for Latin American nations to form a union similar to that of Europe. These nations have abundant oil supplies and would further dilute U.S. power in the world.
It will be interesting to see what happens. Maybe Hugo Chavez isn't so wrong after all.
