Just out of curiosity, I would like to see how many of us have had a flu shot for this year. I started to get the flu shot because most employers won't let you work during an outbreak without having one, but now I get them because I have a firm belief that they work! In the eight years I have gotten a flu shot, I have only had the flu once, and it was that horrible Norwalk strain.
Also if you're from the States, have you ever NOT gotten a flu shot because of serum shortage?

My wife and doc make me get one because I'm "high risk". But before I got married I never got one except in the military.

I always gotten my flu shot every year because I got allegies and asthma.

I didnt get one this year...and guess what.....

Why is everyone afraid of flu shots? All they are is raw eggs that had the flu shot it self. Scientists injects them with needles then does something else to them,I think, then they break them down and put them in vales so it can be use give us as flu vaccine. It just once a year anyway.

I got a flu shot this year, mainly b/c I work with the general public; mostly pregnant women and children.

I would think about it but really when I get the flu, it's never really that bad. Missing work and watching daytime t.v. well makes me go back to work so I don't get one,a flu shot I mean.

Try working in a prison where if one person gets sick everyone does. All it takes is one person so dedicated they won't call in and boom everyone's sick.

I got it...But i'm afraid of needles....I have had at least 100 injections from age 1-5

I got one this year, first one ever. It wasn't bad, just in and out like that.
