Ok i like rap, i like gangster rap, i like 50-cent, i like g-unit


this movie sucked so bad, dont waste your money on it.

People are saying this is the next scarface, or better than 8-mile...i dont know if they've seen those movies or this one

there is no character development, i dont even care his mom was murderd, i dont care his boy got paralyzed, i dont care they killed the guy who killed his mom, i dont care that he got a record deal, i dont care that he got the girl, no matter what happens in the movie, you dont care, you dont feel for anyone, and just as the movie starts getting good, the scene clips and starts up a whole new plot.....it was pathetic.


i came in expecting an ok film, i never thoguht it was going to be the best movie of all time, and i got one of the most boring, unentertaining movies i have ever seen

i actually pretty upset, and i dont know if its because everyone is praising this movie soley becasue its 50-cent who stars, or if its becasue people really think its good and jsut dont know any better.

Rap is the scum of the Earth in my opinion. People like 50 Cent get paid millions for:

1)Not even being able to sing, just talking.

2)Having their shirt off, which leaves them more prone to injury ( like tsetse flies)

3) Doing drugs, which is the ultimate cause of death to the people who listen to the rap junk anyway.

4)Getting blasted in the jaw by Eminem, who shouldn't be rapping.

i agree that a lot of rap is just talking, but 50 cent does do some allright harmonizing

I like rap but I haven't seen the movie.

I trust your opinion because it is the only one I have heard about it so far.

But if a friend says it is okay I will listen to their opinion also.

Maybe if you didn't pay so much money to go to the movies it wouldn't have been such a disappointment.

Are people honestly surprised this was crap? And I don't know of anyone saying this is the next Scarface. If there are, these people should be ignored and/or pitied. I'm not even a huge fan of Scarface (there are MUCH better, overlooked Pacino films: ex. Dogday Afternoon, Serpico, Panic in Needle Park), but that is just a little ridiculous.

So the moral of the story is, 50 cent is going to die trying.

That's what you get from copying 8 mile and naming it your goal in life.

It seems like people who never heard of 50 cent liked it I was surprised at the good reviews the movie got.

For a movie it was o.k. I just could not get over the fact it was 50 cent.

off the record i actualy didnt pay anything to see this movie so it wasnt the money factor that was disapointing, and it was quoted in some magazine "they next scarface" or something like that

Now I don't want to see the movie, thanks to the reviews...well, to be truly honest, I never did want to.

this movie very easily could have been pg-13 if they got rid of the nudity and the excessive swearing

What would a film like this glorify? Gangsters that can take bullets and come back as rap stars and make millions? He killed people just as people tried to kill him.

I knew it would be cr*ptacular! What do you expect, it stars 50 Cent... One of the most overated and under-talented men in music today... Second only to Sean Paul. People who think these two have talent need to get their ears checking... lol

I can't stand hip hop, r'n'b or rap. but i did try and get it into once, till i found rock and metal. but I guess its everyone to their own, but a lot of people go with the music their friend likes... like hip hop and rap and such.

also, I'd rather listen to eminem (blugh) then 50pence ( )

I've only ever seen Fiddy with one facial expression anyhow, so it's not hard to imagine that the cat can't act. And when to "Get Rich or Die Trying" is your life's ambition, I really don't think there's gonna be a whole lot of depth to your work.

And as for hip hop, gimme Atmosphere, Sage Francis, or Common over any of these blinged out carbon copies of each other any time.
