Who thinks it's right here to say Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas?

WHATS WRONG WITH SAYING MERRY CHRISTMAS!?

Yes, the religious principles, but still.

The people at Wal-Mart can't even say Merry Christmas to you!

I think Happy Holidays is safer. At my old job years ago I would get yelled at from people saying they didn't believe in God. So I changed my message to "Merry Christmas, even if you don't believe in God" clap.gif
But I found it superfluous. So now I just say "Merry Christmas". It flows better for me than "Happy Holidays"

I say "Merry Christmas".

"Happy Holidays", just doesn't have the same "Merriness".

So, it's "Merry Christmas" for me!!

I've said "Merry Christmas" to a Jewish friend. He didn't like that. He said, "Say Happy Holidays" instead. So I do so.

Pfft its Happy Christmas. If people don't like it ...TOUGH! And I am not religious.
I know people from various religious backgrounds and cultures and they aren't bothered either. Might be because I am in the UK though...the US is always so much more pc.

I always say - Happy Christmas

Whats the point in saying "Happy Holidays" its only for two days usually, and in this day and age most people work over this short period anyway. Also these people who dont like you saying "Merry Christmas" dont mind excepting presents wrapped in Christmas Paper, or am I wrong and they hand them back?
