I am not so sure if this is the right place for this thread but ill make it anyway.
How come alot of the time you look at the clock at its like 12:34 or 11:11 or something of that nature. Its not always the clock eighter its just all numbers. excpecially numbers with significant meaning like 69 or 420 or 555 ect. This happens to me all the time with the clock. My friend said it was because your brain unconsiously notices that and you decide to look at the clock but that happens to me even when im not even looking anywhere with a clock then i turn around and its 11:11 again! Does this happen to anyone else?

People say it has to do with angels sending messages through time synchs. But it could also just be your brain.

For some reason the last few years (not every night but most nights) I wake up at 2:10 am exactly (then go back to sleep)... Never been able to figure out the significance of it, either, but I just always chalked it up to one of those "weird things". It happens so often I can usually tell before i even roll over and look at the clock, "Oh I'm waking up at 2:10 again".

omg i was born on 4/20...i must be a pothead
also that's hitler's birthday...weird i know. What were we talking about again?
Significant and/or coincidential things happen to people because they make them significant. Every event and every sequence of events in the universe has the exact same chance of occuring. It's only the significance you attach to certain events that make them seem strange.
That being said I somehow always manage to make to the bathroom every morning at exactly 5:43 am

(666)
That is the the member number of Libidinous Scourge oddly enough he just posted.
One theory of this is that our brain works as a clock OMG ITS 4:20 CENTRAL TIME!!!! wow ok that was weird really weird. Instances like that when im looking at the time and I WILL remember it because I need to know the time. This happens also when you don't really need to know the time but its just a curiosity. But Like when you have to go by a certain time and you look at the clock knowing full well in advance to remeber the number that you see and the time just happens to be 11:11. I personally don't think I just disregard the time if it is not a significant number.
[edit] Just looked at my member number its 25444
Alright 25 is half of 50 (significance)
444+666=1110
The first number of Libidinous Scourge's member number is 1
add 1110+1=1111!!
Doesn't anyone else find that REALLY strange

My theory on looking at the clock and seeing patterns is this; you look at the clock all the time, but you only take notice when you see the pattern, and the rest of the time when there is nothing 'interesting' you just disregard it and don't take any notice.
EDIT: Nevermind, looks like someone already pretty much said it.

If you were stuck indoors without a clock you would go crazy in a couple of days. Time deprivation is the best torture there is!
