This " " image freaks me out. Ever since the first time i saw this " " i feel fear and repulsed. I instintivly look away. The first memory was seeing it on the cover of the book Communion. It immeaditly scared the "blank" outta me. I am a grown adult and it still is creepy. It is the only thing that gives me the willies.
How can something as goofy as scare me?

An ex girlfriend says that people that were abducted feel that way. I have had nightmares about . But i dont think i was probed

I think none of us can possibly tell you why the image freaks you out, but for someone who the image really freaks out, you sure do use it a lot of times in one post.

Seriously, its like a freaking deformed baby or a dolphin. Why is it creeeeepy.

You feel repulsion because you are a genuine abductee. The image dredges up horrifying memories from your subconscious. You've not only been taken once, but all through your life, starting from early childhood.

The greys (led by their masters, the reptilians) have intruded upon your life, appearing in the dead of night, or when you were far from human help, terrifying you no end.

They have taken you aboard their ships, and have conducted the most heinous acts upon you, such as removing all forms of tissue samples, inserting strange devices into your body, sometimes removing, then replacing your eyes from their sockets, and placing implants in your nose and/or leg.

You have been used to create human/alien hybrid creatures for some sinister purpose that only they know about.

Your mind has been probe, and you have divulged to them all that you have ever learned or experienced in your life. And, once this has been done, your mind has been erased over and over, like some old VHS cassette.

They own you, and there is nothing you can ever do about it!

I personally think that greys are creepy. But other kinds of ET's are cool looking.

i rather like the look of the greys. perhaps that is because they are the imagry of what our basic facial recognition system identifies as a face.

they probably creep you out because they are small, grey and have a big head and big eyes.

that and they come across as deformed children. children are always more spooky

They freak me out too -- more than anything. I have seen 2 UFOs in my life and couldn't sleep for days afterward. That movie with Mel Gibson and the corn fields (what was that called?) scared the poopie out of me.

There was an interesting article in Skeptic magazine that showed similarites between the image of a "grey" and what an infant sees when it looks at it's mother's face.

They did some kind of experiment where they exposed infants to different pictures of faces. The one the infants responded the most to was a picture of a woman with large dark eyes, with here hair hidden by a white hat-type think.

Not that I would call myself a Skeptic, but it was a good read.

Forgive me, but those people who are really freaked out about the greys might as well be freaked out about any other scary picture. PG: for scary images.

The pics of greys scare the hell out of me too. There's just something sinister, something without emotion, to them I think.

A couple of weeks ago, maybe it was a month ago... I decided to meditate for a while, then I got the idea that I would try and reach out to whatever the greys are and get a feel for them, all I felt was evil man, I don't know for sure what they are alien or demon, but I don't like em'. I cringe everytime I see a photo or animation of them on the History Channel's UFO shows.

Sorry, but we're not talking like we run screaming from the room, it just gives us the "jibblies", if you get the reference from Homestarrunner.com ...Its a disturbing image to some of us, and you should respect that. i understand what you are going through. i feel the same way. im deadly afraid of the greys. because they look so hostile and scary looking and they can't say to us if their nice or not because they don't talk in the way we do. they talk with their mind. not with their mouth. im also deadly afraid of them because ive heard and read about stories of people being abducted by the greys and it scares me enough to fear of being abducted. to be afraid that that might happen to me someday. or has already happened to me. ethier way im left with fear to read about the greys and hear about the greys. im just so afraid of them.

They do not exist.
All there is to say otherwise are unreliable anecdotes. many from unreliable crazy people.
Some other from those who suffer from sleep paralysis, and this is generally becoming thought of to be responsible for supposed abduction cases whilst in bed.

sleep paralisis can't explain people who are wide awake; not in bed; driving down the highway; in a boat with others; standing in the woods while your friends watch you get knocked to the ground while in their truck; or when more than one person is taken at one time...

No, but I would say that the chances that those people were lying, mistaken, or they passed out and dreamt, are signficatnly more likely than the possibility they were abducted by aliens...

Would people get it out of there heads that aliens don't exist! It is entirely possible. Saying that they don't exist for fact, requires proof. Saying that they do exist requires proof too. We just don't know yet. Since there are so many places that life could exist outside our planet, the chances are, it does. Now, i'm not saying that they are visiting us and stuff, but we can't prove if they are or not (well I can't, maybe someone else can), so it still remains a possibility. It isn't that farfetched to think that another civilization has been around for longer than us, and has the technology to "visit" us. We wouldn't even know if there were a million other civilizations out there, because we are pretty much, a minnow in the ocean, what we see, isn't all that's there .

Not exactly. There exists no irrefutable evidence that aliens indeed exist. Therefore, until such evidence is forthcoming the existence of aliens is not considered a reality. The burden of proof falls onto those making the claim. One is never required to prove the "non-existence" of anything.



Now, if you want to say that the existence of aliens is a strong possibility that's quite a different issue. I think there is considerable reason to think that alien life is out there, somewhere in the galaxy. However, once again, this isn't known to be true and is not a "proven reality" (at least at this point in time).

The most correct declaration would be to say, we don't know if alien life exists or not, but there seems to be nothing that excludes this possibility. I know this seems a bit "nitpicky" but there is a logical distinction. Now, if someone were to say something to the effect that alien life is a flat out impossibility, that would be illogical as well!

Oh, I know this... I'm just trying to get the point out that, there is no proof of there existance, but there is a possibility that they do exist. I didn't want to say that "there is no proof that they exist, so that means, they don't..." So i just kinda balanced out what I was saying. I'm pretty sure you know what I meant, considering we say the same things pretty much everyday...lol... but I don't like people saying that they don't exist, because there are so many people out there claiming to have been abducted by them... what if they're right? That is probably the only reason I consider their existance, because of the abduction cases, and some former gov't workers... It is hard to know who to believe these days, so I just keep an open mind for both sides.

Don't feel bad about that image. When I first looked at the cover of the book "Communion"? It scared the holy living %$#@! out of me, and my boys! I think it was meant to do that. A "scary" way to draw attention to the book. I think you're rightfully afraid of the Greys, only because every single reporting of interaction with them has been negative and frightening to the individuals who've interacted with them. The Greys are the ones who seem to have some dark agenda, and are the ones who conduct the reproductive surgical procedures on their abductees. Please don't feel as though there is something wrong with you for fearing what so many others out here fear. It's natural to fear something we don't know anything about and they seem to know everything about us, and it's natural to want to know what and why they're doing what they're doing. It's absolutely frightening to know that they're doing absolutely everything that they want to us and there is absolutely nothing that we can do back to them. It's the unknown. Bastards! You watch! Hey, I'm only bugging/nitpicking because I think you have the ability to understand what I'm getting at.

Now, as far as abduction goes...there's a similar problem. The people who claim to have been abducted are certainly experiencing something, but exactly what the something really *is*, is open to debate. The human mind isn't a perfect recording device. What we experience as our own reality is colored by our religious and cultural beliefs. Now, it's not impossible that ETs are scooping up humans for who knows what reason, but this is also not a "given" assumption. Remember, in past times people reported seeing witches flying on their broomsticks, these folks were quite sincere that this was indeed reality! In order to really know what's actually behind the abduction phenomenon there has be more evidence.
