Two 360's taken in Virginia armed robbery

Consoles taken at gunpoint just hours ago; thief apprehended, consoles recovered.
A Stafford, Virginia, Electronics Boutique store was the scene of an armed robbery this morning. According to sources, the perpetrator made off with two Xbox 360 systems, forcing the store manager to hand them over at gun point.

Sources tell GameSpot the local police responded quickly, cordoned off the store, and immediately pursued the thief. The thief was apprehended shortly afterwards.

Because the police consider the heist an ongoing criminal investigation, store employees were reluctant to discuss details of the robbery. But as of press time, the store is open, and all systems are back to normal.

"We're all fine and everything is cool," a store staffer told GameSpot.

hmmm, if only the police would respond that quickly to violent crimes.

Oh dear, they're getting away with a computer console, we must pursue!
Oh dear, someone's just been brutally attacked and physically assaulted..... ah well, put out a general call to be on the alert. Let's go get some doughnuts.

Notice when it comes to violent crimes related to hardware somehow the x-box is involved. Wasn't their like 2 or 3 incidents of murder involving an X-Box.

Lol, they didn't think to rob from someone who just bought an X360?

Hmm, never mind; I could just imagine someone buying an X360 for his children waiting at home to play on their brand new console, and having to go and tell them they don't have one, we don't want that to happen. sad.gif

Is this reallt that crazy, when Xbox360's are being sold for up to £10,000 on sites like eBay? I tell ye, people get really desperate when a shortage arises.

Best to ride it out. Clever people like me pre-ordered...but you know what they say...if your name is not on the list, you're not getting in.
