I watched a documentary called "The Art of Healing" and I found it fascinating. Have you or anyone you've known tried this type of healing ? Here is a website I found on it...

INTRODUCTION
Tibetans use an ancient form of medicine known as Gso-wa Rig-pa or "The Knowledge of Healing" whose origins are believed to be based on the teachings of the historical Buddha. Tibetan medicine is held in high esteem in Tibet and central Asia.

Here being? Hehe.. I can say the same *shivers* I'm sprawled out to keep my feet warm by the heater.. *chuckles* If it doesn't snow this year, I'd be amazed.

Ok to get to the topic course.. I used to grow herbs for remidies and such... even had a combination for clearing up conjestion... Gotta remember what it was. I think.. silver thyme, catnip, mint and hyssops... Herbal healing really works wonders on irritable sicknesses...

Chinese medicine is viable and has been around for thousands of years longer than the western allopathic medicines today that either drug or excise what ails ya.
Chinese medicine takes into account the whole person, when the practitioner assesses what ails them in their current state of dis-ease. Lifestyle, emotions, diet, etc... All play it's part in contributing to how we feel and what ails us.

Accupuncture is a favorite of mine. They even have accupuncture face lift techniques! *waves at the Beverly Hills plastic surgeons* Look doc's , no scalpel. ph34r.gif

For the throat problems mentioned earlier, there is a very affective tea I highly recommend. Manufactured under the label, Traditional Medicinals. "Throat Coat". Heals and soothes inflammation. There's also a herbal combination that is bottled as a spray, manufactured by "Herbs Etc..." Known as : "Singers Saving Grace". In the event one has throat issues and is in a spot where making a brew isn't possible. All these products heal the condition, rather than numb it temporarily with alcohol , etc.. so that the condition remains at issue because the underlying causes weren't abated.

There's also a distributor for Chinese medicines known as; "East Earth Tradewinds" that have a huge array of remedies for just about anything one can imagine. I love that place. Course , my piggy bank winces when the new catalog arrives,(Not costly stuff, just so much I want to buy) but that's ok. If piggy ever gets sick, I got just the stuff to fix her right up. thumbsup.gif laugh.gif
