According to the Mars Rover website, mars is pasing through the cometary tail of Halley's Comet, and Spirit has been observing the meteor showers.

Hmm...I just can't help but wonder what "significance" Richard Hoagland will see as regards these meteors! they wouldn't happen to be "hyperdimensional" meteors, would they?

Mars is a truly remarkable planet and I think its really sad that some people have to soil the space exploration program with their pseudo crap and fantasy nonsense. (entertainment value excluded)
