It looked like a magical sprite from Disney or something. Hard to determine with that crappy camera those helicopter guys used. Hell, even cellphone cameras aren't that crappy.

In fairness i dont think this was a hoax as it was all over the mainstream news at the time...including the BBC news website ....and it doesn't come anymore mainstream than that

I doubt the police would hoax UFO footage.
HHmmm. Well, if it had been over a large city in the United States, I know what it would've been called. "Swamp Gas"! Everybody knows that swamp gas moves like that.
