I do believe that alien civilizations do exist. I admit that reading or watching programs about such does entertain and keep me interested in the topic (and my belief).

I do have a curious question tho': Does anyone know of the "habits" of aliens? Do they sleep? Do they get sick? I realize this may be a stupid question, based on the fact that living creatures do need to rest, amuse themselves, recover from sickness and such. And yes, I am aware of the fact that because the existence of aliens has not been proven to be a 100% universal fact it's difficult to answer this question with absolute certainty. But...

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts or info.

Lol we don't even know if they exist at all, I mean I believe they do, but there is nothing to indicate any of their habits.
I don't think you will find any good answers to such specific questions.
But I would guess they slip, to contradict myself.

Like Mr Ed said,we dont even know if there are bacteria on other planets,we think there are,but we just dont know.

I indicated in my post that the question would be difficult to answer based on the fact that the existence of aliens has not yet been proven as fact.

if they do exist....which I personaly don't even care if they do exist....if they do exist I really can't imagine if they are as advanced as us....heck, they might just be weird creatures that act as animals do on our planet earth.

Any lifeforms habits are going to be based on it's biology and ecology. Since humans only know a fraction of what it to be known about our own biology and ecology it would be impossible to know that of an aliens.

In other words, your guess is as good as mine.

well the whole universe operates under the same laws of physics, in this alien civilization they are basically made up of the same stuff we are.. just followed a different path of evolution...

so i would say YES they do need to rest, every living thing we know needs down time... unless of course they have developed the technology which irradicates the need to sleep or recover that is..

An interesting place to start researching your question(s) is a book written by a credible author. Dr. David Jacobs has two excellent texts, Secret Lives, and, Alien Agenda.

Remember there are over 100,000 galaxies in the universe. Of course inside galaxies are planets. We have no proof that we are all alone or that another life form couldn't be possible.
Water is the basic foundation for life. It took us millions of years to evolve into what we are now, and there are maybe others who are still evolving or are far more ahead of us.
When I think of aliens I think of something more evolved than us. It's obvious that all UFO sitings cannot be explained scientifcally. Maybe on their planet they have found a way to travel thousands of lightyears in one second, thus far more evolved.
So many things can happen when there is water.
I also think they've found out the secret of dark matter and used it to their advantage. Maybe they know how to use the energy from stars to fuel their spacecraft.

It would be silly though to say well, aliens have big eyes and they're slimy. You can make anything up about aliens. You can't know the actual facts of their habits.
